It's the tale of Angela, a young pre-op transsexual woman cast out of her upper class San Francisco family because of her gender-changing ways, who winds up in that city's lowest neighborhood and turning tricks as a shemale prostitute to survive. Mentored and bedded by a pair of older shemales, eighteen-year-old Angela is soon walking the streets as "Amber" and doing well for herself until she is abducted by rogue Vice cops who put her to work for them as an elite shemale escort servicing an elite clientele. The only one who helps maintain her sanity is her sister in bondage, an older Latina shemale named Lita, whom she falls in love with. The rest of the story revolves around Angela's desire to escape and bring Lita along with her, but... no spoilers from me.
It's books like Shemale Vice that could help elevate erotica to higher regard. All of the characters are distinct and have emotional depth. There was just the right amount of detail to characters, setting, action and state of mind to fully immerse me in the story. More than once I found myself saying "this could be a movie" but all the sex scenes would doom it to being the kind of movie where plotting and character development are not usually a high priority. Speaking of the sex, there's a lot of it, graphic and well-described, and not a lot of banal repetition.
However it was the love in the story that really got to me. The relationship between young Angela and older (and sadder and wiser) Lita is what fully elevated this story to a full five stars. It was a connection I felt, which more fully invested me in the characters and ultimately in the story. If all erotica were this good it might some day be a little bit more respectable.

Oh my goodness, what an incredibly sexy, entirely satisfying read!
Crystal is a natural born storyteller, one who clearly understands that the best erotica is made up of equal parts fantasy and reality, carefully layered against one another so that the reader is never jarred from the fantasy, but instead eased both in to and out of it. Her characters are wonderfully human - flawed, vulnerable, and sympathetic - and there's a clear delineation between lust and love that's all too often overlooked in similar stories.
The sex scenes here (and there are a lot of them!) are almost perfect in their execution, one-handed reads so gorgeously described that you'll find it hard to finish the story in one sitting. The important details are slightly exaggerated, playing to the fantasy angle, but not so much so that the reader is forced to question things like size and stamina. Ultimately, though, it's in the climactic moments where she really shines, offering up messy mutual orgasms that satisfy all. I particularly liked the double-facial with with Oscar and Lita gift young Amber, and the scene where five guys climax over the writhing bodies of Amber, Lita, and the showgirl lesbian they're busy filling with their own ooey gooey goodness!
Alongside the sex, however, is a story that's as full of drama and romance as any reader hope to experience, with an ending that might be just a bit too tidy, but which left me with the biggest smile of all. Crystal really brings the various elements of the story together, resolving them in such a way that you're left pleasantly surprised, and entirely satisfied.

Then she was arrested by a small gang of Vice Squad cops who planted drugs and gave her a choice: be our prostitute or go to prison. I know that this is a book but for me there was a whole lot wrong with it to me. The book had a lot of hot sex scenes to the point where it was porn. I did like the relationship between Angela and Carmelita and I was glad that they got out of the situation that they were in. The book was also well written.

Of all my shemale stories, this is the one I'd most like to see turned into an actual movie. It has actual romance, jeopardy, drama, suspense and several believable twists. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a love story born out of a hopeless situation.
