Megan is a long time resident of queer romance and keeps herself busy reading and writing it. She is often accused of fluff and nonsense. When she’s not involved in writing, she likes to cook, harass her wife and cats, or watch movies. She loves to hear from readers and can be found all over the internet.

You fuckers!

Why did no one tell me there was a scene about the MCs of 'The Bastard Prince' available?! It's one of my fave MD books!!

You all suck.

Reyes, gruff, cranky and absolutely sick to death of the Days of Devotion. A three day celebration of love (a long Valentine’s Day!) that just makes him crazy, crazy enough to want to go murder the King and Queen who invented the tradition. He sneers, he rolls his eyes, he gets irritated and aggravated. He just in a foul mood, one that will remain until the stupid holiday is over.

From his love, Kinnaird, he finds a small package wrapped in orange paper and tied with an orange hair ribbon. He ties on the hair ribbon, freaks when he thinks it is a ring (because he will NOT receive a ring on this stupid holiday) , and then opens it to find a better gift. As he continues his day, he finds gifts that are “him”. Finally he realizes he won’t get any work done and is off to find his Kinnaird.

This story is sweet and funny. I love crusty, grumpy men who soften only for their partners. The ending of this one, absolutely loved it because it was an act done for the happiness of his love. Adorable.

This I enjoyed, it's a sweet little take on an established couple and a Valentine's Day like holiday. It's a follow up short to The Bastard Prince and has some spoilers of that story.

My only complaint was that it was too short and I wanted more. But it did say the book was part of the Kiss Me Quick series so I knew what I was getting into, lol!
Nevertheless, I absolutely love these two! Reyes and Kinnaird are one of my favoritest couples and the ending was a delightful surprise! Loved it! :)

Very cute short story about characters in the last Kria book. I am a huge Megan Derr fan and she seldom disappoints.

Too short, and I didn't even know that the two MC's where taken from another book of the author, since I haven't read that other book.

Short but good

Megan Derr is among the best at writing gay romance. I recommend her work, long on sentiment and short on pornography.
