An excellent guide to thinking and writing about studio practice. I go back to it when I want to regroup or focus my thoughts about my work.

I go back to this book over and over again. It has opened up ideas and avenues in my work that would have taken years to navigate through. It asks hard questions that get you thinking more deeply in your practice. I go to it when i am stuck, when i am not, when work is slow and i need to break it up with an exercise. It is an essential tool in every artist's studio.
