After reading at least one book a day for over 30 years, I decided to try my hand at writing after I retired.

Once I started writing the characters took over and I tried to keep up, not always easy. Books have been pouring out of me ever since. This is what I should have been doing all my adult life, I love it so much.

Good, quick read. This author passes the test on the mechanics of good writing. There were few errors, I was never lost in verbiage, and I never got mad at the book. This mystery started with its climax. The protagonist kills her husband and the town supports her actions. Why? Is it because she did the world a favor? Or was there something else going on?
Thank you, Ms. Holloway, for sharing your talent.

This author is amazing! The book was exciting from the beginning and it was tough to put it down. The time period was facinating and how they dealt with the issue at hand with the means available! A real page turner! I love the way the author brings you in slowly to the issue at hand as the main character realizes it. Great mystery and fast paced in a good way! I would highly recommend this book!

Must Read

Storyline was great. Characters were well written. Recommend reading. #suspense #thriller. It's really about a town and the secrets they keep. Once exposed, the real story emerges.

Suspenseful with a touch of history

Started this book two days before my book club "deadline". Couldn't put it down and loved the back story as well as the reference to the civil rights era in a southern town.
