This was quite the gem. My only complaint is the length. Like other reviewers I think it would have been outstanding just a little longer. That said, Ms. Masten did very well with such a short story.
I don't normally like first person narratives, particularly with BDSM, because the dominant party often comes off too stern or just unkind. Jay's innate kindness and love came across very well in spite of not hearing his point of view.

Extremely short story. What there was was good and showed true emotion but for me it just wasn't long enough. I think it could have been a really kick ass story exploring the relationship of these two friends turned lovers if it had been a hundred and fifty pages longer.

I liked this very much. I agree with the reviewer who called this a 'gem.' I also read one of her other ones 'My Two Doms', which again, was good, that felt a little too short though. I lalso liked Pierced (Natasha Knight) - similar to these, also a very good find.

Friends to lovers, back to friends, then lovers again. Sweet story, and boy did he know how to tease and drag out her anticipation!
