Venix
In an ancient battle between the neuri of Belgrade and the Vampyre, Zaria is caught in the middle, given the task of being The One.

This is the second book in the Pravus series by Poppet, Seithe being the first. I would recommend reading this series in order.
I definitely enjoyed Venix it was intense, fast paced full of twists and a very refreshing paranormal read. However, it lacked the darkness and the emotional ride of Seithe and unfortunately for me the character development of Darise and Zaria individually and together left me confused as not enough depth. Adding Zauran and Venix to the mix as well...what can I say..that just did it lol!! They were all circling Zaria but for me it only scratched the surface. Zaria is in fact the key player in an ancient war between the Neuri and the Vampyre by landing smack down in the middle of it making it a journey of love, redemption, and truth seeking.
I can honestly say that I still feel a bit in the dark on what is going on..how the heroines are chosen, are they ordinary or is there more to them that we don't know yet...are they actually supernaturals too?? I am also wondering whether I am over-analyzing it..but it's what I do that's the kind of reader I am!!
I do know that I cannot wait to get started on the 3rd book, Zauran, because I LOVE the other characters from Seithe (who were also in this book, which I loved) and I need to know what is going to happen next! This series definitely intrigues me!!

This is the 2nd installment in the PRAVUS series & just like everything POPPET writes ....
IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME
This book takes u deeper into story in a way i could not of anticipated . Altho the book is name after the amazing charater we are intoduced to VENIX (who i have a massive fangirl crush btw) it is also the the story of Daris Zaria (who i adore) & Zauran .
In this book Zaria finds her self in the midle of an age old war between Neuri & vampyre !
The roll she plays in this war is both exciting & unexpected .Zaria is special & catches the attention of all fractions of supernaturals . She has a special connection all all of them & has to determane wat is truth & what is a lie & who to trust .i found my self totally vconflicted on who i wanted her to choose & what to believe !!!....aaaahhhh it was so hard to choose 3 super sexy , super hot supernaturals lol !!!
I luv the flow of this series . each book takes u on a totally different ride & shows u all sides of the characters . It draws u into the story & has me totally addicted to it !!!
If u have not read Poppets work b4 then NOW is the time to start !!!

The awesomely intense, and mind-blowing Poppet Author does it again. This author is a one of a kind when it comes to weaving the web...twisting and turning the situations and relationships between characters and story lines-she is brilliant and my very favorite author.

This is the second book in the Pravus series by Poppet. I immediately downloaded this book after finishing Seithe. This is the book of Darise and Zaria, with Venix thrown in. This series is incredibly thought provoking and intense. The relationship with Darise and Zaria and Venix and Zaria and Zauran and Zaria was emotional and intense! Who would she choose - who could she save - who will she love. While I was happy with who she chose it left me wanting for something more. I absolutely loved this book - loved the characters and loved how the authors words take you one step closer to Heaven or is it Hell? The ride is intense the writer a master of words and manipulation. Feelings so intense and numbing left me reeling and wanting more.
I gave this book 4 stars because I was not fully convinced at the end that Zaria made the right decision. But that is not a bad thing - I love this authors capabilities in writing and this book left me wanting more of my Pravus beasts and wanting to know more of the mind of this author.

This is the second book in the Pravus series. Meet Zaria, a woman looking for the love of a man, that turns out to be Vampyre. She is thrust into a supernatural world she didn't believe existed. She is kidnapped before she learns the importance of the things she needs to learn. She has vampyre and nueri hunting her. She has been told the other half of the story between the war of the vampyre and the nueri. She has men after her for love, lust and redemption. She has decisions to make and lessons to learn. Is her love enough to survive the struggles of war? Will she chose to give the redemption and truely follow her heart.
Poppet is an amazing author who brings her story to life with amazing clarity. We learn of the human mind and the lessons we must all learn.

Wow, honestly, I'm really disapointed!! The first book was AWESOME but I feel like this one was just another book with different guy and girl but same story! And there was one thing in it that made me so mad, "SMALL SPOILER ABOUT THE FIRST BOOK"
In the first book the Vampyre could not use phones since there voice would not be heard over it, but in this one they can?!??? Really small things like that just buggs me.
I was so excited to read this and well after doing it, I could care less about reading the third one.. =(

Wow! Poppet definetly knows how to confuse the hell out of me yet entertain me at the same time! I loved Venix! Zaria is feisty and I liked that about her! Jowendrhan, Darise, and Venix are hilarious! I love those men! I swear its hard to not like Jowendrhan. I'm glad Seithe and Phoebe made an appearance because I missed them! ;) .... Not sure how I feel about Zauran but I know i don't want him with Zaria! And I'm still a little bit confused about the war and how Zaria saved Venix.... Next up is his story and though I dont really care for Zauran im going to read it anyway. XXX ~ Poppet

The second in the Pravus series,Venix is Seithe's mysterious uncle.His desire for Zaria is obvious,unfortunately she is involved with his other nephew Darise and is being pursued by the Neuri Zauran.Venix is an inigma that makes you want to learn as much about him as possible.This book gives more insight into the origins of the Vampyre and leads you on a journey you don't want to end.

Oh these supernatural being are so incredibly hot and sexy, yet emotionally raw and open. I can't help wishing these characters are real so I can be a part of their story. Poppet your words are so entrancing and intoxicating.
