I love this book! Most of the restaurants are still open today. I double checked the ones I want to visit in Google Maps. I especially appreciate that the book focuses on local restaurants and food places, it is a good idea to check it out before visiting İstanbul so you do not fall into tourist traps :)
An absolute must for foodies living in or visiting Istanbul. We took a Culinary Backstreets tour (which was amazing) and our guide dogeared this book for us. Some places we had gone on with the tour, and we found three others because of the book. Great write ups and photos too.
Such a thorough exploration of Istanbul’s culinary scene, from street food to long established restaurants. I have dog-eared many pages of places I hope to visit.
