This massive tome is unlike the author's other books. It is an adapted thesis, which means that it is written in a rather dull academic tone with lots of footnotes. The book is an absolute wealth of information on previous terrorist attacks. In fact, it is a little too much info, even for me...and I love this stuff.
The last chapter is very crucial to read and understand. In it, the author suggests what future terror events are likely to look like by studying the evolution of past tactics.
Buy and read this one if you are REALLY into the fine details of terrorism or want to teach the topic, otherwise, I would recommend one of the author's other books which were written more for the average person.
