Regina, whose father was the emperor that got assassinated, became the regent on behalf of her younger brother. While facing plenty of hardships, news about the depletion of national funds due to her maniac younger brother's behavior, as well as her fiancé having an affair, begin to spread... In the end, she loses everything when her fiancé commits treason. In her last moments, she turns back time using the relic of the first emperor. In order to stop the main culprit, Regina declares that instead of a maniac, her brother will become a love-crazy fool.
....WOW. Now that was a story that didn't completely disappoint me. The art and the way the plot was progressing was all out! Want a side story so badly now.
Hilarious, cute, crazy, and quite magical. Slow, but was simply amazing work put a lot into this. Would I recommend this?.... The rating speaks for itself, go read it!
Princess Regina isn't the heir to the throne, but with how much stress and responsibilities both her ignorant father the Emperor and her terrifyingly spoiled younger brother Crown Prince Theor have piled upon her throughout the years, she might as well be. Thanks to her scheming fiancé and his mysterious witch, their kingdom even burns to ashes - but what if things didn't have to be this way? If being an obedient daughter and sister wasn't enough the first time around, then maybe she'll have to be even more terrifying than Theor!
I'd been reading this a while back and only picked it up again because the clock app said it was updating, haha. Regina just wanted everything to be in its rightful place all this time and really just wanted to keep everything in order but after seeing how well that went in her first life, now her entire vibe is "let's wake up and choose violence". Her plans don't always work as she wants them but she finds a way to MAKE the situation work for her (I distinctly remember "why did she put her anger out on duke A when it's duke B who dumped her?"...true BDO "we find ways" energy). In comparison her ML isn't the sharpest tack in the box but I WILL be looking forward to his groveling. But in fairness this story of Regina smacking her spoiled little brother into shape isn't as dependent on the love line as you would think, and I LOVE that for this.
Reading the manhwa version, with another title “Crowning a spoiled prince”.
I gave ⭐️4.9⭐️ for this. It was excellent almost perfect story. There was little lack in some parts in this plot but it didn’t really ruin the story.
The FL was badass and the villain was powerful. It was such as great battle. As much the villain (Anetta) was cruel, I felt sorry for her and couldn’t heartily hate her. Maybe in another story where she got return back the time, she would be badass FL. Yet, her revenge was wrong in this time line. I was really satisfied with the climax where it gave best result for the Fl and the villain. FL (Legina) and the villain could make best friend because they shared the same concern. 🥺
ML (Aaron) was ultimate pretty man. He, somehow, was a sword master who is a bit innocent, easily blush, open book character, and maybe masochist (?) [cause the FL so alpa and mommy (?)].
If you love badass, powerful, yet soft female lead that Legina is the answer. She was really perfect character for this manwha. She also loved her bratty brother so much and I really loved the chemistry between this sibling. They were like a real brother and sister in real life that always argued. Hahaha. You will love them. They were so funny!! 😂
I love the ending where all the characters gained their own happiness, expect sir Johan (I felt pity for him that Selma rejected him till the end) 🥺😢
This story is great! The various subplots are all really well paced so that they're always ongoing, but they never overwhelm each other. The little brother, the titular 'spoiled prince', is a really fun side character, as is the love interest, the unbelievably handsome but emotionally stunted Aaron. Also of note is the antagonist, who evolves in unpredictable but engaging ways.
The romance subplot is particularly well done with lots of comedy and miscommunications, but nothing ridiculous or overblown. Having the ML be too handsome for his own good, but also an oblivious idiot about literally everything else, was a particularly funny element in the story.
Overall, this was a nicely balanced story with a satisfying ending and good pacing throughout. No soggy middle or unnecessary plot tumours; lots of character development for everyone involved and a light hand with exposition and lore.
this was fr rlly good, like thematically pretty powerful (with unique intrapersonal & interpersonal psychological angles on finding the balance between passivity and kindness and self-respect) which i certainly didn't expect. plus the plot was captivating & mostly well-paced, and the art was beautiful 😇
*and* even though it sometimes made me nervous about what message it was going to end up giving about restorative justice & retaliatory violence from victims/towards the ruling class (which many webcomics fail at in either a very lukewarm or completely distasteful way), but how they tied it up actually warmed my heart! and avoided being lowkey misogynistic like some webcomics do with their female villians!
Great fun and quite the rollercoaster for our poor MC. Mostly attention sustaining and I did fall in love with a good chunk of the main cast, which always makes investing time into the story more rewarding. I particularly adore the siblings interactions (realistic and hilarious), the emotionally stunted ML getting his shit rocked by the realisation that he loved the MC after already rejecting her, and of course the two doggy companions. All a joy to see interacting! Though the ending could have been stronger, it was still satisfying enough for it not to spoil the rest of the story. Also the art? Beautiful. Would highly recommend.
Found it sometime last year, marinated it, and when I finally picked it up again, it had already finished and even started uploading the side stories. Now it’s at the part where little Herman meets Evaldina for the first time. To be honest, I never expected the story to be this good. I thought it would be your typical regression story where the MC turns back time to fix their mistakes.
But no—this one has such a solid plot twist at the end that I genuinely can’t decide who to hate, because both points of view make sense. It pulled me straight into the gray area just one chapter before the finale… so, so good!
After losing her father, bratty brother, and the Elias Empire to her traitorous fiancé's schemes, Princess Regina makes a wish upon a magic ancestral stone and returns to when she was fifteen.
With one last chance to right everything, she comes up with a plan: train her spoiled sibling to be the next ruler by becoming an even bigger brat and get Aaron Vestein, the most beautiful man in the empire, to replace her fiancé!
But will just wits, resolve, and a new suitor be enough to change Regina's fate?
It's always a massive positive when the art stays good throughout the whole series. Plot definitely had quite a few weak spots but overall pacing was decent.
Nice story line, pretty funny but also there's serious and meaningful moments, you can appreciate the character's growth and I really like how they show lots of members of the different families involved.
this manhwa is legit another case of “omg i’m so brilliant, big brain energy” fl, when in reality, everyone around her is just stupid, which is literally the only reason her revenge plot is even gaining any traction 😁
ALSO, she’s not a “girlboss” for literally HITTING HER BROTHER WITH A BAT whenever he misbehaves, is physical abuse not a thing now or something??? 😧
