Many good ideas and options. amazingly fence-building technology hasn't changed that much in the last 100 years, especial if you plan to do it yourself

Originally written in 1900 - multiple editions since. The variety/ingenuity of different fences/gates for different purposes was examined. It gave a wealth of examples. The weak side was the very poor graphics. Made it difficult to understand how some of them were put together. Still a nice addition for those who will want to make fences to keep deer and rabbits out of their gardens. Or, just to prepare for armageddon.

If I were "going back to the land" or running a small farm or ... then I would want this book. No need for it otherwise (for me).
