At 53 pages this book is more a booklet for introducing medical professionals to the field of palliative care for terminal patients. Introduces the necessity of communicating fully and honestly with terminal patients as well as common/basic pharmacology used in palliative and hospice care in a lightly technical manner. If you have been an integral part of caring for someone with terminal illness during the last part of their lives, then there is likely not much new here. If you haven't and are preparing to do so, it is good information.
