Author Julia Press Simmons does it again with another 5 star novel! In this tale of Fornication you will meet Honey Dip as she travels down the road of prostitution, sisterhood and maybe even true love!
You will also meet Portia, the leader of the prostitution ring and her girls all know that Portia is not the one to be played with. But, is this sisterhood true or is it all about the money? Would you be more loyal to your pimp or a dollar? These girls have a story to tell and you don't want to miss out!
Find out what this author put together in Fornication. If you've read any of her other books you know you will not be disappointed! Julia's pen game is tight!

Just to start off I'd like to mention that I am tightening up on my ratings. Very few authors are providing us readers with pure garbage. Not gonna mention anyone in particular, but I am truly fed up with buying junk. So when you see a 5-star rating from me from here on out it is going to be a banger!! On Fire!! And a book I wouldn't mind reading again and recommending to Amazon readers or my friends.
This book earned 5-stars. I bought part 2 and 3 after finishing chapter 3. I really could relate to all the characters .They are just doing their thing to survive and I can't judge them in any way. I felt like they were part of my block (and yes I do have prostitutes that commonly work in my neighborhood) It kept my attention from page 1 and I really really enjoyed it. In fact I didn't want it to end, but thankfully the follow up books were readily available. I <3 <3 <3 Julia Press Simmons and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing back my full interest in reading again.I will buy all of your books and I look forward to your future releases.

Drama
Fornication Volume One (Honey Dip) by Julia Press Simmons is a good read. It's well written and it's a page turner. This author did a good job. This is my first time reading from this author. It's drama and more drama.
The cover is sick and characters of this books are crazy and funny. Mookie is something else. Finally, I finished reading this book. I will not say anything about this book. This book is hard and emotional to me.
I would love to read more book from this author.

Julia Press Simmons has brandished her almighty pen and birthed another saga from The Strawberry Mansion Series. Fornication is a prostitution ring originated by Portia, a hard nosed yet focused madam that’s saved a few hoe$ and groomed them to be more than they ever imagined. The first installation is centered around Honey Darcell Jenkins, who was delivered from a crack addiction and owes her loyalty to the dynamic female pimp. Baby Girl stays in her world of pink and bubble gum but is a wiz with a blade…try her! April lives with the dream that Rahim, a pro baller, will try and make a hooker a housewife, while Mookie attempts to hide the fact that she’s becoming a vacuum cleaner for that powder. Peanut (Andrew) is the muscle of the establishment as well as a happy medium for all the ladies, his gentleness is endearing.
Fornication is as bold as the cover that adorns this read. Fornication is a tale of an age old profession yet defines entrepreneurship, dominance yet compassion, danger yet empathy, risks yet decisiveness, reactions yet consequences…this is mos def an electrifying novel that will have you fascinated from the introduction all the way to a spellbinding ending. I’ve been a fan of MZ. JPS for years and I must say I recognize her innate literary skills and commend her on her growth in her craft! Loved, loved, loved this one…it was an amazing story. If the author would have put just a tad more development in a few subplots that were left open, Fornication would have indisputably garnered a 5***** rating. Dynamic job, anxiously anticipating for the next installation of this magnificent series! 4.68

Fornication started out a little slow for me but once it picked up....I had to buckle my seatbelt!!! The storyline was good but my main complaint was the ending. I love books that leave you wanting more but I felt that Fornication left me hanging completely. Like when you get into a good movie and all of a sudden the movie cuts off.
On another note...The characters were believable and I'm totally Team Honey & Peanut! Honey was the most developed character and I felt for her in the situations she kept getting into. I also loved Peanut and his protection for his sister Portia, the love he felt for Honey and the protective gene he had for the other girls made him real to me! Loved him!!!!
I gave it a 3 star rating because I was left with alot of unanswered questions about the characters and the reasons they are the way they are. With a little more backstory and a little more closure at the end this book would have been a 4 star rating for me.

"Fornication" was my 1st read by Ms. Julia Press Simmons. I read this book in two hours, it was good! It is the story of Portia, the madam of a brothel. She has four girls working for her: Honey Dip, Babygirl, April, and Mookie. This book focuses more on Honey Dip. Honey is a former addict, who is ready to give up her call girl status and get to know her daughter. Things turn for the worse when she makes a decision that just may destroy her relationship with Portia.
" Fornication" was a very good read but had some editing issues. I can't wait to read more about Baby Girl in book two. Job well done Julia.

WOW. Julia Press Simmons definitely has a fan in me now!! Reading this book I really saw growth in her writing since the first book and OMG it is awesome. Mookie was something else in this book and I couldn't wait to see how it would play out for her in the end. I am ready for the second installment to this series!

This was my very first time reading from this author though i do have her otehr books i just havent read them yet. i think this book was very well written and it held my attention. the book was a short story but it was good. Cant wait to see what part 2 has in store, and whats going to happen with the rest of the fornication clan.
