About the author

Jiva Fang

The author is a silly lady who currently resides in Oklahoma City. She works from home and also attends school where she is working on her BS in CIS. BS apparently does not mean “Bored Silly”. ~Shut up, you.~

Lamenting her relocation from exciting and lively New York, she refuses to admit that she wasn’t doing much in New York either. She maintains that she had more choices of things to NOT do.

Jiva Fang is one of the many voices in the author’s head who, after having told their story to the author, was very upset that she’d only written down about a third of it. A vote was taken and Jiva, having drawn the short straw, was forced to take over and get this writing thing moving.

The author is occasionally allowed out for short periods during which she'll play with her kids and read up to 5 books a day, on any topic other than the one Jiva is writing.

I assume it is in bad taste to review your own work, however, this being NOT Amazon, I feel I can take my chances here.

The main character, Petra, is my kind of chick.. Attitude!! She is a very determined woman who knows what she wants, and has spent centuries honing her methods of getting it. Other than the whole Vampirism thing, the most prominent certainty in her life is "Love leads to problems".
After 2000+ years of doing things her way, and walking away practically unscathed,"Falsely Accused" drops us into that week in her life when things begin to fall apart, and Love begins to beckon her (again).

The story is told in the first person and I think that the glimpse into her mind at her most confident, as well as her "slightly unsure" brings a lot of personality to the narrative.

As a reader, even if I had not written it, I would think this is a great read, so:
Why four stars? Well, it's worth more than 3 IMO, but not perfect. My doubts include: Did I confuse my readers? Were the smutty parts handled well? I think the prologue is slower than the rest of the story and bogs it down a bit. (the author asks you to push past it).
After reading the book on my Kindle I also found a slew of errors.. so a demerit for me on those. Of course I updated the ebook, so those are no longer an issue. :)
