if i were only to recommend 1 manhwa/webtoon to read to anyone who is even slightly interested in the genre it would be this one.

precisely the SECOND and THIRD SEASON of it.

its a masterpiece in story telling and art.

while reading season one i wasn't so sure about art because its not my favorite style but it kept evolving and at the end the pure simplicity, and how it's used by the author to convey feelings into the page, won me over hundreds of time.
i will never be able to express how greatly it complements the story.
and adding to that; not only smut is smuting but also it is simply aesthetically pleasing to look at

while season one is mostly cute and fluffy kind of collage romance everyone can enjoy.
only then second season happens and it HITS like a truck, with all the feelings at once...
it is the best thing i read in weebtoons, and for past 2 months i have read hundreds of them, to the point my brain is a rotting mess full of dump

second and third season of this webtoon have the best redemption arc i read in the fiction ever.
authornim turned a red flag to green flag with such a skill that for a moment i believed that with enough time and self reflecting every piece of shitty person can turn a new leaf just like that
(also the whole redemption story somehow healed my broken, pitch black heart i was nursing since reading killing stalking years ago... which says a lot)

i can't
it's so good
and the fact that it doesn't stop at usual - they lived happily ever after- but continues and shows how characters deal with all the shit they did to each other and how their past traumas are affecting their lives for years to come...
man... somehow experiencing that story turned into one big therapy season i didn't even know i needed

this whole note is a mess because i am a mess after reading it
but it's joyful kind of mess : )

Well I’ll be honest I started this series on Tapas over a year ago and paused after one or two episodes because I didn’t see what the hype was and wanted to spend my coins else where and then the holidays came around and I decided to give it another go and I’m so happy i did because it exceeded my expectations. I GET the hype now.

I’m just going to copy and paste this for all the volumes and mention all three seasons in one go.

Basically Read this one! It's worth it. The art might not wow you are the beginning and the first couple (season 1) are cute and sweet but the best part is the second couple that are the MCs of season 2&3. Plus the arc gets better and better.

In season 1 I really do enjoy the personality pairing of the first two MCs (Dojin and Taehee)but I think they are even better as the side characters that make cameos in S2&3.

It's a bunch of red flags at the beginning of season 2 for the next couple, specifically how big of a jerk Taehwan (Taahee from S1’s older brother) is to Yeonwu when they meet up in university but the redemption arc is chefs kiss and the character growth is top tier. If you’ve read stories like BJ Alex it’s that type of redemption/grovel arc but better because it’s longer and more authentic work goes in for Taehwan. Also Yeonwu grows too. It’s what I dream Jinx’s redemption arc will be like and KNOW it will never come close for either MC like these two characters.

Season 3 continues with the second couple as they build on their relationship and give us all to beautiful love and HEA that we want

A ver, la primera temporada empezó surrealista (pq es TaeHee masturbándose y Doojin dándose cuenta). Pero después se va a tope. No hay dramas innecesarios y la historia no se alarga de más (te da lo justo y necesario).

El smut en su punto y el romance super cálido y sano.

Ya quiero conocer a TaeHwam y Yeonwu!!!

One of the best redemption arcs in the genre. The realistic character growth from both of the characters is something that is unfortunately rare in BL which makes me appreciate this book even more. I think I will come back this story again and that is why it is getting a four star rating from me.

Let's just say I will never not think about season 2 or 3 for as long as I live and breathe. You can bet on that. I am absolutely ten-toes down for Taehwan and Yeonwu like oh my gods - one of the best redemption arcs I've read in a BL manhwa in a long time


11/29/25 - just reread this and i still stand by what i said in my first review - still an amazing redemption and like idk how but it feels even better bc i actually understand where the story is going and i can see all the connections that I didn't catch the first time!
