This book is full of drama, suspense and it has so many twist in turns that it feel you are on a roller coaster ride. I started this book and couldn't put it down because i was always wanting more, and i could not wait to see the next twist. This book was a great love story with alot of twist and turns to the two main character Victoria and Joshua love story. There was so many high point but trust and believe there are so low points as well. The Character Danielle will have you screaming at the book and have your emotions on high. The characters are not who you think there, and when the secrets are reveal you will be like OMG. OMG was my favorite word thru out the story this was a page turner from the beginning to the end. This a must read and at the end pick a team to rock with and i rock with teamdante, and teamvictoria .

To the Author Stephanie Nicole Norris Thank you for changing the literary game up and all books don't have to be about the hood to be good...
I am team Stephanie for life, and May God Bless you and Keep You Always,

Drama!! Sadly, I could really see all of this happening. Love will make some people do some crazy things, think irrationally, make up and believe what they made up and become obsessed and determined to get what they want. I figured out the twist in the story before it was revealed but I still enjoyed the story and plan to read the next installment and see what other crazy obsessed things go down.

Review:

"Trouble In Paradise" by Stephanie Nicole Norris was a amusing romantic read with a lot of drama, suspense and action....loaded with twist and turns that kept me reading on till the very end... I stayed up to finish this one!

In "Trouble In Paradise" you will find this novel a love story involving some very interesting characters ...some likable.... some NOT ... starting with Victoria Mathis, Joshua Eubanks, Ms. Danielle Shumaker, Caroline Banks,Rebecca, Shayla (Shay) Morrison, Leon, Greg, Detective Sanchez, Dantae and I may have left some other important ones left out...but I am sure you will find who they were in your read. I found that each of these characters gave a emotional high ride that kept the reader pulled into the storyline. The two main characters were Victoria... who was becoming a psychologist after her internship in Chicago and Joshua who was in real-estate agent. These two sweethearts take off for Chicago to start a new life but obstacles keep presenting big problems for this couple who are now engaged. Were you looking for a 'Happy Ever After?' Well... It seems like a former girlfriend of Joshua has come to Chicago to get her man back...and now this novel takes off and OMG what a bumpy ride! How will this all come out? Now, this is the time that I say you must pick up the good read ..."Trouble In Paradise" to find out.

This author worked her magic in being able to bring out ...so much in these pages. Be ready because there will be a lots of interesting elements going on in this novel... such as stalking, lying, rolled joints, cheating, sex, guns, secrets, revenge, lovers triangle, obsession, love, hate, friends, betrayal, crazy person, passion, killing and even a 'Cliff Hanger Ending' that will have you thinking... Will their be a Part Two?... I hope so!

I found the author to be a talented storyteller which left me thinking Wow what a read! If you are in for a good romantic fiction with a lots of drama and details...you have come to the right place...for "Trouble In Paradise" will be a good read that I would recommend to you. Setphanie Nicole Norris is a new up and coming romance fiction author and I think she did a wonderful job with this novel.

I really like this story. Of course it was one of those stories where things happened that you saw coming before they happened. I'm guessing there's going to be a sequel because of the way it ended. The characters in this story were so typical. Danielle was out of control. Joshua was a typical player. Victoria was you typical air head that would fall for anything. All the other characters were just pawns in these three lives.

Over all the story line kept you going and wanting to see what was next in the game they all played.

Great Storyline!

Loved the characters and the storyline, i. e., suspense, love, friendship, etc., was well thought out and intriguing. However, this book was hard to read. The numerous errors were a disservice to the characters and disrespectful to the customers who purchased the book.

I am shocked that, with the number of glaring mistakes, anyone would publish this book. Surely, your fans would enjoy a more professional product.

Sorry. I just had to say something. It's like buying something you really want. And finding out it's defective. Would you take it back to the store and get your money back. Yes. I would.

Big trouble in paradise!

Joshua was a trip and I felt like Danielle was stupid to chase after him knowing she was really just a booty call! Personally I thought Victoria should have left him and to not check out any information on Greg, especially a last name was foolish! Poor Leon, trying to be helpful to psycho Danielle, look what his end result was! This is proving to be a great series Stephanie Norris, looking forward to continuing on! Sorry I missed out in the past. She's definitely an author to watch, I've loved every book so far!

Book one was straight crazy

And it seems the crazy will continue in book two. Wonder if Caroline gonna be as psycho as Danielle? That girl did have some loose bolts. Felt bad for Victoria right up until she started her own mess. Joshua, I got one word DOG. And Greg, he's a predator. Y'all can't tell me he didn't prey on Victoria? He knew who she was before all the incidents happened as much HIS WIFE talked about her. Anyway, like I said the crazy will continue.....

Was not Impressed

I am an avid reader of Ms. Norris however this book is a huge disappointment compared to her usual work. The storyline was good but the grammar the overall style was different level and style.

A lot going on

This story had a lot going on. It was easy to tell something dramatic was going to happen. Joshua was such a dog,but two wrongs don't make a right.

Extra! Extra! Trouble in Paradise was trouble to read, the trouble was I could not put this book down. Which is always a good thing. I started this book on a Thursday and was finished by Friday. I like the way the author was able to put together a great story minus the drugs, gangsters, and straight up killers that I am usually accustomed to when reading urban fiction. But don't get me wrong I love those kind of books too. Minus all that and the author was still able to bring the drama that was needed to make this book a great read. The characters in this story were young black professional people with good careers Jousha was a Real-Estate agent while his soon to be wifey Victoria was on her way to being an up and coming psychologist after she completes her internship in Chicago. So the college sweethearts go off to Chicago to start there new life out there and everything was going great Joshua was ready to propose and spend the rest of his life with Victoria. But obstacles keep getting in the way mainly Danielle, who was Joshua's ex from high-school who he has been still sleeping with even though he is with someone else.
I tell you some girls don't no how to let go and Danielle was one of them. I mean can you say psycho, delirious, crazy stalker this chick came all the way from there hometown of Memphis to Chicago and reeked much havoc from breaking into houses to pulling guns on people and to finally killing her own best-friend. And just when you think you were drawn in by all that it gets even deeper with a even crazier twist. Victoria has some drama of her own when she meets and falls for another guy while trying to sort out the mess that Joshua created. Great story line, great plot and the character development was very strong they were all very believable and realistic to the point where they just grew on you. Each character gave me a different emotion and feeling toward them and I like to get pulled in like that. I even felt Ms. Danielle to a certain extent sometimes its hard to let go of someone you have loved for so long, and its even harder when you are still sleeping with that someone and that other someone knows he is in love with someone else but continues to string you along that would hurt.

But this girl was hurt and crazy which makes a bad combination. And to the fellows this should be a lesson to you. Stop trying to have a woman and a fling on the side because just like Joshua you might find yourself with "Trouble In Paradise." Your actions become reactions and those reactions might turn into consequences. Before I go into my Q&A I would just like to thank Ms. Norris for contacting Hottest Urban Fiction Reviews it was such a honor and a pleasure reading and reviewing your book.

Now yall know what time it is....... Q&A
How would I rate this book on a scale of 1-10?
I would give this book an 8, awesome page turner

Would I recommend this book to anyone else?
Yes support this author I see big things for her

Would you buy another book from this author based off this one?
Yes I would and from the way the book ended it might just be a part 2 but that's just my opinion.

Oh my! I could not put this book down. This was a true page turner at its best. This was an interesting love story gone WOW! I just know that there is going to be a Part II to this love game. I already know that Victoria is in for a ride. I think Caroline and Danielle will both be going out of the way to make her life a living hell as they try to get their revenge. I’m not sure if there is hope for Dante, Joshua or Greg being faithful. We’ll just have to wait and see. Joshua may surprise us all, but not before he has to take a trip down the rough road to “hoe” rehab. I think a lesson learned for them all is that love is an extremely dangerous game. Every time you try to play with the heart someone gets hurt or worse, killed. Great job, Stephanie! Now start writing Trouble in Paradise Part II!!

" Trouble in Paradise" is the debut novel by Author Stephanie Norris. Victoria and Joshua have been together for six amazing years. They are ready for a fresh start in their lives when Victoria gets a new job in Chicago. Happily ever after right? Wrong! Joshua's ex, Danielle Shumaker, is determined to win back Joshua's affection by any means neccessary..even if it means flying to Chicago and confronting the woman who took him from her.
" Trouble in Paradise" was a great read from beginning to end. The storyline flowed together effortlessly and the characters were believable. There were a lot of twists and turns that I definitely did not see coming. There were a few editing mistakes but not enough to be considered a problem. There were a few unanswered questions so I can not wait for part 2 so I can get some answers! 4.5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. The story was engaging. I was torn between if I wanted Joshua and Victoria tostay together or break up when Joshua cheated with his ex-girlfriend Danielle. I couldn't imagine Joshua being faithful only until he thought he was losing Victoria .Danielle brought so much drama that cause her best friend who had her back, being killed. I was disappointed that after Victoria discovered Joshua cheated with Danielle she wanted to get even and cheated that caused a major chaos for her. I not going to be a spoiler however I hope to read a sequel. Stephanie Nicole Norris is a well written story teller, she captured my attention in the beginning and I couldn't put the book down.

Victoria and Joshua move to Chicago to get a fresh start and a new job opportunity for Victoria. Little does Victoria know that Danielle an ex-girlfriend of Joshua's is on her there too. Danielle is determined to get Joshua back at any costs and she doesn't care what she has to do to get him back. A lot of things will come to light when things get out of hand and some things about Joshua surfaces. Also Victoria meets someone new even though she is still in a relationship with Joshua. I thought this one was a great read and this was my first book by this author. I can't wait to read the sequel to this one.

This book was OMG Great!!! Stephanie told a story that seems so real... I could not stop reading. There are twist and turns, up and down, and DRAMA wow!!! At one point I wanted to be written into the book so I can kick the ass of one of her Characters... The only thing I can add is this statement right here >>> "when Victoria finds out Joshua has secrets of his own. Distraught, confused, and mad as hell she falls into the arms of another." Is an understaement!!! I would defiantly recommend this book to any and everybody... I hope there is a part 2!!!!

Wow! What a great book! I enjoyed "Trouble In Paradise" from the moment I opened the book until the very end. Just when you think things are great, everything turns sour. This book was a perfect example. Victoria had her man, a new job and plans to move to a new city to start a new life and everything goes wrong. I love how Stephanie included love, deceit and betrayal in the entire book. If you have not picked up your copy, you better get busy because your missing out!

this was an excellent debut for this author. i was hooked from the very beginning. each character was developed well as i was able to truly feel as tho i knew the characters. i felt bad for the main character, Victoria, all they way up to the very end when i thought she was being foolish. im hoping there will be a part 2 to this book because i felt that some things were left unanswered.

I thought that this was a good story. I felt like the author developed each character well. Now, getting to the juicy part!! I thought Victoria was a plum fool for doing what she did, because everyone knows that two wrongs sure don't make a right. I can't believe that it went down that way, and I can only imagine what part 2 has in store for us.

The book started off ok with just a few errors. The more I read, the more frequent the errors were. There was also entirely too much going on with the story. My rating went from what would be 3 stars (due to the errors), to 2 stars (due to the errors) to 1 star (due to the errors and outrageousness of the book/ending). First and last book I will read the author.
