The Trouble with Vampires

Rate this book
A pretty blonde vampire is trying to kill me. Sure, that sounds like the beginning of a soft-core porno, but in this case it’s a freaking nightmare. She breaks down my door, kills my roommate, curses at me like a sailor, and then starts following me around like a stalker.

And did I mention she’s trying to kill me?

What’s worse, I think I might be turning…gay.

I don’t think life could get any worse.

Shit! I shouldn’t have said that.

I've been reading and writing paranormal romance, urban fantasy, erotica and fantasy for years. This month I finally got tired of the agent rejection forms. So now I'm trying out Kindle's Self Publishing system. I'm thirty-nine--for another few months, and chronically single. I live alone with my jack russel, Jack.

Besides reading steamy books about werewolves and vampires, I love Italian food, Ice cream and long drives...but only when someone else is driving.

This is a very short, very funny read about a guy being stalked by a blonde vampire chick. He doesn’t remember her, which is why she is “all up in his business.

As a quick read, this is pretty funny.. Not “LOL” funny, but definitely fun.

The ending? Ha..

Karma is a bitch.

The main character was a wuss, plain and simple. I was expecting a more "macho" guy, not a scary nitwit. By the time I got to the last paragraph I was not able to fully appreciate the humor that took long enough to pop up.

Now this was fun, the language is a little harsh, but the story flowed and made me giggle madly. The M/M sex scene at the end was...well...arousing...

Too confident in its own wittiness and depending on an uncomfortable inference for its punchline.
