I liked this one rather better than the first volume. The slow dwindling of the Marines was felt more acutely, now that there were fewer of them to begin with, and the Eye of Terror was an appropriately crazy place.

This series is brilliant.

From the start I was immersed right in the world and experienced the action almost first-hand. The plot was exciting and the illustrations were great.
