The fifth book in the Wyvern Clan series, Fate of Monsters, was a stunning read. The action and the excitement were almost too much at times. I didn't want the story to end.

This is a nice-sized cast of characters. Each of them has had their own trial a tribulations, both on and off of the page, but somehow they manage to overcome everything. The characters are the heart and soul of this series and I never felt that more than in this book.

Wow, this was an emotional read. It's war, all their trauma is brought forth, and there's violence and so much emotional pain. There were some moments that brought me to tears. The pain was worth it because it was such a great read with a winged male who would burn the world for his love, sassy best friends, fated mates, and found family that feels truer than anything plus the magic. It's a great read

It's been a ride, I finally got those answers I've been looking for and it makes everything so much clearer. I've gotten to know these complicated characters and love them. Fate of Monsters was the epic conclusion to Callie's and Emerson's story but it's not completely time to say goodbye there's a sixth book coming. Hex of Monsters is a companion novel, and after reading the epilogue, holy crap, I can't wait.

Book 5 seamlessly continues the gripping saga from its predecessor, wrapping up Callie and Emeryson's journey with a deeply satisfying conclusion. The battle against Louie and the ancient god unfolds with heart-wrenching losses and heartwarming reunions, evoking a whirlwind of emotions, encompassing both love and sorrow.

The anticipation for this installment was palpable, especially after the suspenseful ending of the previous book. The narrative brings forth the culmination of the war, where Calli, Emerson, and their allies fervently strive to dismantle Louie's reign. The unresolved fate of Posy adds an extra layer of anticipation and intrigue to the storyline.

This series shines with its captivating setting and a cast of characters that effortlessly captures readers' hearts. The depth and charm of the characters make it impossible not to become emotionally invested in their fates.

I wholeheartedly recommend this series for its compelling world-building, engrossing plotlines, and the magnetic allure of its unforgettable characters. It's a journey that captivates from start to finish, leaving readers longing for more while providing a fulfilling and rewarding conclusion.

The best left for last

Our story continued where book 4 left off. Lorenzo and Posy don’t have time to ponder whether Emerson and Calli have been destroyed in their battle against Louie, a.k.a the Rift King. I don’t feel this is a spoiler as there is no way the author would kill both of the MCs with an epic battle yet to come. I was a teensy bit put off at the beginning because all I wanted was to find out what happened to them, but the author, thankfully, dove right in and I was hooked as usual. I really loved this series like the majority of G. Bailey’s books as they have great characters whom are not wimps that hold their own with the right amount of steam and banter to keep me entertained.

It’s always difficult for me to prolong reading of a final book as I never want to see a series end. Thankfully, Ms. Bailey manages to give us the right amount of battle worthy fight scenes and answers to our questions without being too abrupt. We do have the added bonus at the end which definitely satisfied my thirst for more, but you will have to read the book to find out more about this bit of surprise.

What a way to end this series. This book picks up right where the previous book left off and I was not disappointed at all. The final battle is finally here, and no one is exempt from this fight. Callie must accept that the Louie she knew no longer exists and I'm more than ready for it. I'm over the guilt she has been feeling throughout this series for Louie after everything he did and is still doing. In this story memories are recovered, families are reunited, deals and sacrifices are made, and lives are lost. There's a ceremony, heartfelt and steamy moments, along with surprises, recovery, new loves, honoring, rebuilding and more. Emerson and Calliophe deserved to be happy and just enjoy their time together and I was here for it. I enjoyed reading how things ended with Louie because it was long overdue and I'm more than happy that Nerry got her HEA because she was another character who deserved it. Now, I'm definitely looking forward to Posey and Lorenzo's story and hopefully their HEA. I'm sure their journey will be an interesting one.

OMG LOVVEEEE

This was such a FANTASTIC end to this series! Calli and Emerson end up in the Rift and Emerson has gotten his memories of her back! They also find her parents and she is told to get the swords she will have to make a dangerous journey. Thankfully all goes well, and they end up back in their realm with what they need to defeat Louis and his monsters.

I cant wait to read the next series that will have Posy’s and Lorenzo’s story!!!

This book was 100% worth the journey!!

Another great read from G. Bailey and the perfect ending to the series! I love how it all came together and without giving much away I was also heartbroken at points in the story, I’m feeling very sad that series is now over (I understand that there will be another book but it’s another couple). The only complaint is I wish there was an epilogue for Calli and Emerson. Would 100% recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good fantasy series.

This is Calli and Emerson's story. It continues right after the events of the previous book. Things are coming to head with Louie. I love the emotion and connect with the characters. Family, surprises, steam and so much more make up their story. This is an amazing addition to the series. I am very excited to read Posey and Lorenzo's story next!

Calli finally gets something she has wanted for a long time. But to get the power to destroy Louie she understands that a sacrifice must be made of someone close to her. Deals with enemies have to be made but they didn't count on nature being used against them. This was another great book in this series.

too fast

I feel like everything occurred too quickly in this story. I’m happy for the ending and getting one, but I needed more. There were opportunities for more details but alas here is the end.
