Two people, applying for the same job at the same company, will not write the same resume. A resume is not just targeted to the job, it has to address the obstacles the jobseeker has to getting the job.

This book is a reference book, almost entirely a collection of sample resumes, CVs and cover letters, with very little commentary. It contains 400 resumes and and 40 cover letters.

As a professional resume writer, I've been using this book as a reference for several months. My process is to look through the table of contents for sample resumes that come close to my client's needs, then I review each of them and create a hybrid resume drawing on the inspiration I've gained from this book.

If you're looking for work or are a professional resume writer, then you want to own this book as you'll refer to it often.
