"There will always be sad things. But if we talk to each other and hug each other a lot, we will always feel better."

A girl and her brother know that something bad has happened, they just don't know the specifics. The adults are watching a lot of TV and seem worried. So what can be done? Talk about our feelings, try to do the things you have always done like playing with friends, doing chores and going to school. Ask questions and send out positive thoughts to others. That's how we cope with the sad things that happen in our world.

Coping is a necessary skill in a world that is filled with uncertainty (among other things). Like so many other books in the Magination Press banner, this book offers an excellent note about the very real struggle that fears and the unknown can bring.

This book touches on the fears of children and how to appropriately deal with them. It also talks about how it's okay to be afraid and how to deal with fear. This is a great book for little worries with big fears.

This book makes open discussion possible about things concerning violence around the world, which may not always be an easy topic to bring up.
