Bio:

Mark DK Berry was born in England in the late 1960s and spent most of his life in London. At the age of forty, he moved to Australia, where he now resides in semi-retirement, enjoying the Queensland climate while working on his books.

During his time in London, he immersed himself in the music industry, and the joys and perils of this period serve as inspiration for some of his work. As a musician, he achieved some success with indie bands and later signed collaborative record deals that led to global CD and vinyl releases.

In between the adventures found in the nightlife of London, he embarked on journeys to foreign locations armed with nothing more than a bivvy, a machete, and a writing pad. These experiences inspired his travel journals, becoming one of his staple genres.

Although he still produces music and music videos, his primary focus since settling in Australia has been to write about his various experiences, hoping to benefit or simply amuse others.

All his published works, whether music, video, the written word, or his digital art, can be explored on his website www.markdkberry.com.

interesting story, the book feels short and compact, i liked the ending and how the title ties into the theme with it.
