Mystery abounds in the books of Amazon Best Selling Author J.T. Lewis.

Living in Southeast Indiana, J.T. has always loved a mystery. Striving to bring readers a story packed full of action, adventure, and suspense has led to his current selection of titles.

His first full length novel, Murder! Too Close To Home, has been voted #1 on Goodreads Best Debut Mystery Series list. Since then JT's many novels have taken off, bringing readers action and adventure at every turn.

Also look for JT Lewis' Pepper and Longstreet YA mystery series. Having been compared to the old Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew mysteries, Pepper and Longstreet at first seem an unlikely duo.

Having discovered Jacob Longstreet standing in her kitchen one day, the ghost of a Civil War solder soon becomes Pepper's friend, as well as her partner in solving mysteries. Together, they find themselves in the most unlikely of situations as mysteries unfold around them.

An electrician by trade, at night JT Lewis morphs into a fictional detective with a keyboard, a transition that suits his need for creating exciting stories very much.

Loved it!

Pepper and Longstreet are so much fun to read about! Volume 2 moved in a different direction for me. While Pepper and Longstreet are still solving mysteries, this mystery was about a touching love story between a father and his children. It brought tears to my eyes. This is a must read! When you're done, do what I did. Give it to your child, mine's 31, and then it will be passed to your grandchildren. I promise. They will love it as much as you do. I absolutely recommend this book for anyone of any age.

I like this book!

I especially like Longstreet, his mannerisms and his dealing with the modern world.

The author has put together quite a combination with Pepper and Longstreet. It really does remind me of the old Hardy Boys mysteries I read when I was younger.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who has teens.

"The Missing Clue" is #2 in the "Pepper and Longstreet" Young Adult mystery series. In this exciting episode, Sara, a former school mate of Pepper's, who was best known for being a stuck up snob of a cheer leader, requests Pepper's help solving a very unusual case. Sara's father had recently died of cancer. Her mother had died some time prior to that.

On the very night her father died in the hospital, their house caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished before too much damage was done, but the bulk of the damage was in the father's study. Due to his belief that his children should work for everything they get in life, he had left them well-disguised clues as to where they would find his will, life insurance policy, and other important items. Unfortunately, the first clue was in his study, and presumed destroyed in the fire.

Once again, Pepper and Longstreet put their collective talents to work to help Sara and her brother find the clues they needed to collect on their father's life insurance, and locate his will. This is a very involved case, and the way the two amateur detectives work together is almost uncanny. (Did I mention Longstreet is a ghost?)

This tale is available individually, or in a collection of all 11 episodes in the series. I highly recommend this for all pre-teens, teens, young adults, middle aged adults who enjoy reading a book just for fun once in awhile, and old adults who grew up reading "The Hardy Boys" or "Nancy Drew" mysteries. These mysteries are just as good as those legendary series were and are.

"A Captivating Mystery Series"

Now that Pepper has notoriety as a crime solver, she gets a phone call from Sara Lawson, a recent high school graduate. Pepper remembers her as being very popular, beautiful, and a cheerleader, and one who called Pepper a dweeb as she walked down school hallways. However, Sara needs help, so Pepper takes on the mission. As Pepper gets ready to go to work at the mall and meeting Sara, Longstreet again startles her in his habit of approaching her quietly from behind. He always seems to know when she has a mystery to solve ... but then again, it is his job, too! Meeting Sara for coffee, Sara is quick to reveal the recent death of her father. The night he had died at the hospital from throat cancer, their home had caught fire. Ironically the fire and damage was only in her dad's study. Her dad had planned a treasure hunt for his son and daughter to get their inheritance when he died ... and the hunt has to start in his now damaged study. Pepper agrees to help Sara go through all the boxed records removed from his office. This is quite the mystery that leads Sara, Pepper, and Longstreet from place to place to put the puzzle together. Another great short story which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was absolutely glued to it. A very talented, crafty author.
