Currently available on the Internet Archive, this is the fifth volume of a Peter Pan adaptation. This volume continues the darker action, returning to more familiar elements of the Peter Pan myth in its many retellings, including a link between Hook and Peter that’s been hinted at by other adaptations. The comments on volume one apply here too. Sadly, this volume has a rather pejorative depiction of a black man, which taints the story telling.
Hmm. What to do with this. I liked it. I disliked it. Both art and story wise. But I’m glad I read it and prob won’t re-read it. It’s a dark gritty version of Peter Pan which leaves a sad taste in your mouth after reading it... great read. Not an easy pleaser
