This issue has something of a value just because it contains the first appearance of The Legion of Super-Villains, the opposite of The Legion of Super-Heroes, which Superboy belonged to briefly before becoming Superman. Apart from this first appearance, the story is so lame as to be childish like all the stories of the first hundreds of issues of Superman and the rest of the DC universe.
