The only future that can be predicted with 100 percent certainty is one that can be calculated mathematically--for example, the orbit of a comet. Adam is unknowingly selected on a short list for relocation by aliens, as part of a grand plan to save the Earth's species from certain extinction in the coming global catastrophe.

This book started off rater lame: extra-terrestials that come to Earth to surf? Come on! But anyway, I continued reading and even though there isn't a big plot around anywhere, the writing started to get to me. I really started caring about the main character, and I really got fascinated by reading about his daily routines, his love life, his friends and hobbies. And, after the book was finished, I craved to read more (which I subsequentially did ;-). All in all, I really recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading about real people who endulge in extraordinary hobbies and experience some really weird stuff (not all of which is drug related ;-)!
