With renewed energy and bolstered powers, the Fallen prepare to square off against the invading hosts of Heaven. Unlikely alliances and new weapons will change the tide of the realm-spanning battle as Lucifer and Dahlia attempt to reclaim the powers they lost and the roles they were destined to fulfill.

Humanity will be brought to the brink of extinction. Monsters and angels will be born. Brother will fight brother. Friends will die, and vengeance will be paid in blood.

Hell will descend onto Earth as the Heavenly conflict unravels the foundation of our universe and snuffs out every star in the sky.

...But it's totally a happy ending.

I earned a degree in Comparative Religion, so themes-wise that certainly pops up here and there in my writing (okay, more than a little here and there in some books).

I write what I enjoy reading/watching - which is fantasy/sci-fi with dark humor and a bit of romance. What I consider romance however is to some...a bit off (and kinked out). And when I say dark humor I mean black. But I always have lighthearted moments (I do not believe a story should be all one way or another). Gotta spice things up!

Speaking of...I like to write stories that cater to all sexual preferences in one story (as opposed to just writing gay/lesbian lit, etc). I have your typical male-female romances. I have male-male, female-female, transgender, bi-sexual, sub-dom, etc. This is mostly due to the fact that well...1. I like writing about it. 2. I see it in my everyday life. 3. I like having a well-rounded cast of characters from all walks of life.

This book surprised me the entire way through. Town really delivers, bringing this completely unpredictable storyline to a magnificent close.

The final answers that this trilogy has been leading up to are so much more thought-out than those of the religion that the story draws some of it's foundations from... which I find hilarious considering that the latter is presented as non-fiction.

No spoilers here... the thing I loved most about this trilogy was the emphasis of the beauty of our world. And now I sound like a hippy.

Liked the relationship between Lucifer and Dahlia. I mainly concentrated on them but also loved the other characters. Also loved the explanation of the beginning of the world.

If you've read the previous two books and are in love with the Morningstar cast and universe you will definitely enjoy this book! I read Daystar on my way to work, at work, on my way home, as soon as I got home and til the moment I closed my eyes. Just pulled an all nighter (from 9:57pm-7:24am) because I never found that "ok, it's slowing down, time to put it down" feeling. I just couldn't let it go until I finished! The second book Evenstar ended in a terrible cliffhanger. Our Fallen ready to bring it on against the heavenly hosts who are ever so ready to destroy them. So of course, this last installment of the trilogy was bound to have an exciting start.

There are many twists and turns, and this book rarely has a dull moment. As soon as you hit the halfway point, it is almost impossible to drop because you just want to know what is going to happen next and what is going to happen with our the characters. Sides are chosen and/or switched. There are heart-pounding battle scenes written from different point of views, steaming hot erotic scenes, hilarious, laugh out loud moments, highly emotional situations that will most likely get you teary eyed, or a combination of some or all. Definitely intense! It does have a lot of content that to some it may be viewed as fillers/overkill, but if you have come to love the characters as much as I, this will not be an issue and you will not be disappointed! I am really blue this represents the end of an amazing story, but definitely looking forward to other works by Darcy Town like her awesome "Wastes" books.

WOW what a way to end a book,

I did not think that an author was able to keep that amount happening straight and to keep that amount going at such a pace....

Triffic read and have thouroughly enjoyed each and every one of the books and the characters within.

Real cracker of a read - Thanks Darcy for sharing this story with us.

Just finished the trilogy and what a fantastic romp! The stories just kept on coming without a break in the action. I loved this! A great mix of comedy, action, angst and redemption. I am new to this author but have become a huge fan! Lovable, quirky characters, sarcastic & funny dialogue made this series a joy to read. Can't wait to dig into her other works.

Loved, loved, LOVED this book. Darcy has created a wonderful world with fully-realized characters. More complete review forthcoming, but I absolutely loved the whole series and recommend it wholly.
