Thousands of years ago, Angels came to Earth to protect God's Chosen. Given a soul and free will, they were implored not to use either. But some did. Some made terrible choices and were cast into the depths of Hell for their sins...
Unable to bear the horror of what Hell had become, some of the fallen angels escaped, returning to Earth to continue to protect God's Chosen. These are their stories...
Angelisa Bishop, once an international supermodel, is now fighting to get out of a bad relationship. Breaking free and moving to a cute one bedroom home has given her hope. But hope shatters into pieces when she meets the man who also wanted the house she has purchased...the man who is really a demon.
Astaroth is the Seraph who organized the rebellion to leave Hell. He is drawn to Angelisa, wants to protect her no matter the cost. But the demon sent after Angelisa won't stop until she is dead. And if he can serve Astaroth on a silver platter to the devil after killing Angelisa...all the better.
Astaroth faces his greatest enemy while trying to save the woman he loves...but is their love enough to come out of this alive?
I wrote mystery in grade school, mafia stories in high school, and paranormal the last few years. Through it all, romance has found its way into every story I've written and I'm proud of every word. Come join me on this wild ride!!!
It was pretty good! The mythology was fantastic, and it seemed like the author really did her research before writing this book. The characters in Fallen were all extremely likeable, I just wish the book would have stuck with the main characters more often. I loved every single secondary character, there were just a lot of them. Hopefully Fallen was meant to be more of an introduction to the fallen angels, and in the books to come we will find a more focused storyline. I don't mind when a book switches POV's from time to time, but when you're reading about a different character in every chapter, it gets to be a bit much. Even still, I was highly entertained with Fallen and look forward to reading the next in the series. I'm giving it a 3.5
Almost. (I read part of it in college and ... ugh.) This book was engrossing, an original take on fallen angels seeking redemption. The only reason I did not give this book five stars is because of editing errors. Get a good editor to find and fix those, and you've got a terrific book.
I don't think there was any thing missing in this book. Evil dude relentless, love aplenty, suspense, hope, good friends, all this and a Happy ending. My kind of book.
