About the author

I grew up in a small northern Minnesotan town married my high school sweetheart, had two beautiful children and as soon as we could we moved to a warmer climate. I have worked with my husband building and decorating custom homes for years. After loving every kind of vampire book, movie and series I decided that I wanted to know more. I can write a book I thought, how hard can that be? Well.... But I stuck to it and finished my first book Royal Blood Chronicles Book One in August 2009. I now have ten books and three novellas in the Royal Blood Chronicles, two in Phantom Lives, three in the adult dystopian Pathogen series, two in h thriller/mystery series Silken Ties, with Corporate Ties and Thorns of Revenge and 25 books in total. My parents always told me that I could do anything that I wanted, work hard, study and do it right. I believe that and live that way every day.

I started writing this new vampire series for teens and their moms because I myself wanted something different to read. I was tired of all the modern versions of vampire books, there had to be more to these long lived beings. Where had they been what had they seen? I wanted, no I NEEDED to know more so Royal Blood Chronicles was born! As in Royal Blood Chronicles, Phantom Lives features strong female characters and action and adventure mixed with romance, friendship and a historical backdrop

Abbi & Bill are back and this time their saving lives of people just like them.. people with special talents.. Abbi and Bill have dreams which lead them to Kaitlin and to Randall & his family.. both are on the run from the government and their evil.. Abbi & Bill have to save them before the government can get their hands on the gates and the key and use their power for evil.. the government will stop at nothing to have the power at any cost..

Phantom Lives-Power is highly addictive, a ride of your life, heart stopping moments.. Elizabeth Loraine came back in book two and delivered to her fans a powerful & addicting story & strong characters that will stay with you forever and they will leave you wondering what their next adventure/s will be!!!

I am proud to announce that Abbi and Bill are back fighting evil in Phantom Lives: Power. Power leaves off where Phantom Lives: Collier took off. In chapter one we find Bill and Abbi with their twins Christian and Christina who have shown they already have a bit of magic of their own.
Elizabeth Loraine has once again used her wonderful and creative imagination in transporting the reader into the story of Collier and those sworn to protect it. You will discover once again the world with Keepers of the Gate and Sentinels. People with tremendous powers that are used for both good and evil. People doing whatever it takes to protect these gates, and the humans who hold special powers that are not only wanted by demons but by the government themselves!
Phantom Lives Two is filled with adventure, betrayal, heartache, and suspense with each turn of the page. I read this book in a little less than two days! I once again could not put it down because I found myself in the story, walking in the footsteps of her characters.
Elizabeth did a wonderful job continuing Abbi's and Bill's magical life from Phantom Lives: Collier to Phantom Lives Two: Power without so much as a hiccup. You can tell Elizabeth takes her job as a writer very serious through the words and characters she uses in her books that surprise, anger, sadden, disappoint, amaze and elate the reader. I have become a loyal and tremendous fan of Elizabeth's since book one of the Phantom Lives series.
I highly recommend Phantom Lives Book Two: Power if you love the paranormal and magic or just want a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and wanting more when you are finished with it. If you haven't read book one in the series, Phantom Lives: Collier, I recommend you take time to read it first. Even though, book two can stand on it's own. And that is another plus for the author.
I am not going to give anymore of this book away, you need to find out all the secrets it holds for yourself. You will not be disappointed!!

Abbi with her new family and new friends are back at it again searching for Keepers. Power starts off right away with Bill having a dream and soon they are off looking for this new Keeper before the evil demon, Tisha, can get to them first. But it doesn’t stop there, more and more Keepers are being awakened; and the group must find them before the Gates are jeopardized and lives are lost. The big question raised in the story: who can you trust?

Oh goodness, I was more blown away with Power than I was with Collier. And I loved Collier so that’s saying something. Loraine worked her literary magic and created another fast paced read that oozed action and suspense. I was so glad to see that Abbi and Bill played another big role in Power; but happy that new characters were introduced too. With so many great characters, Loraine can do so much with this series, the prospects are endless.

Power had me smiling, it had me near tears and it had me so stunned with certain twists. Tense plots and an action filled storyline had me reading, eager to reach the ending. With evil so strong in the world, who can you trust? Well looks like you’re just going to have to read to find out. Phantom Lives: Power is a must read for anyone who fancies supernatural elements, mystery and suspense.

What can I say, Elizabeth. Loraine has done it again. I'm only sad I read it so fast, of course not being able to put it down its a given that I would finish sooner than I want. She writes with detail but leaves room for your mind to add to the adventure. As with all Ms. Lorraine's books I highly recommend phantom lives -2 power. Well done.

love this book and the series!

A nice change to the dull vamp/paranormal series we all love. If your looking for different but interesting read this! Has it all love and a storyline!!!
