This book has basically three parts: 1) surprisingly lengthy explanation about SEO, 2) general mentions for Flash optimization and SWFObject/SWFAddress tutorial, 3) optimization for Flex. The SWFAddress tutorial was the main highlight of the entire volume. The book could totally do without introduction about SEO - a brief overview would be nice, but in my opinion there was no need to go into such detail, especially that the following Flash part was surprisingly brief. I feel none the wiser about optimizing Flash except the vague notion that I should use SWFAddress. I can't believe there is so little to optimizing Flash; in fact, online articles turn up more info.
I have no idea about Flex, so I didn't read that part.

The last section of the book are two case studies on live websites. They aren't very ambitious, but it's nice to see the working code and the process of applying changes. It helped a lot in processing all the theory from the previous chapters.
