Almost annoyed
I would have really enjoyed this book if the author didn't repeat the same thing over and over again, just in different ways...it just dragged on.

This author is slowly becoming the queen of the cliffhangers! She did it in Devious Bully and she's done it again with Envious Bully.
Kane still sits on his bully throne, he's harsh, cold and quite egocentric. He expects for him to lead and for the rest to follow. But our lovely Olivia isn't having it. She fights back with an equal force! I loved their interactions.
The more I read this book, the harder it was to put down. It has many unexpected events and it will have you on your toes and not expecting what could happen next.
Two words: simply hooked.

Sorry.. Had hopes it would get better.
3 chapters of a squirrel brain on crack and steroids..... Sounds like it could be fun???? Right! NO BAD SQUIRREL! I SWEAR THE AUTHOR JUST CUT AND PASTED THE SAME EFFING STUFF! with a bare minimum of dialog. Olivia just touched and became a god damn bore within 3 chapters. And for those chapters I skipped looking for dialog with anyone. Pages without a word from any one as her brain fried.... K. Just couldn't do it. It like a lot of internal dialog.... Like 3 chapters saying same thing over AnD over Again you will Love this.

Too many secrets!!
This is book two in The Devil's War and ends on a cliffhanger. I do have to say there is a little too much filler in this story, I feel like books one and two could have been just one book because they are a little on the wordy side. I am enjoying the story and I have a feeling that once the secret that Rodriguez has been keeping comes to light Kane is going to have bigger problems than Olivia and her mother.

Interesting.
This one was more interesting. I will say I was more interested in knowing about the battle between kane and Rodriguez. I love olivia and her stance against Kane. She's standing tall and on her own. I love it. Can't wait for the next book.

good story but little spice
The story is interesting, and I look forward to reading book 3. If you are reading for spice then this isn’t the book for you. I gave it 4 stars because it’s a good story but I would like more spice.

Oh fuck
Now this is getting intense!! I wanna know Kane's secrets but I'm coming up with quite a bit of my own, and they all revolve around his mom and how she died!! Livy is fucking kick ass and she is gonna put these boys in their place

Yikes.
Stop writing so many of the characters’ thoughts. Wow, that was annoying. 15 pages of thoughts before an action….girl. These could have, and should have, been 1/4 the length.
Nope. And nothing new. Same High school hot bully who is the “king” of the high school. Nothing new.

I really wish the author would move it along a little faster. Sometimes feel like she talks too much instead of of carrying on with the story. But other than that I like it

The push and pull begins!
We see more to Kane in this book and the push and pull between him and Livy is heating up! Excited to continue their story in book 3.

I tried. I really did, but my god NOTHING happens. It’s so much repetitive internal monologuing with zero action. I am officially done with this series.
