Yo no soy un espectador muy asiduo de la acción a tope a cada momento, pero es que en Shingeki no Kyojin resulta adictivo y verosímil que el lector no tenga ni un respiro entre tantas muertes y batallas épicas frecuentes. Las personas se están jugando el pellejo por encontrar respuestas y lograr su ansiada libertad a cualquier costo.

Me encantan los personajes que arriesgan demasiado, y mucho más aquellos en los que sus desiciones resultan moralemente cuestionables.

Me ha dolido que al final Ymir no se hubiera quedado con Historia. Espero que haya quedado viva, porque sino me dolerá mucho.

Al fin sé el significado de la coordenada y que ahora esta la tiene Eren, por lo cual puede controlar a los titanes.

Erwin trayendo a ese montón de gigantes en un acto desesperado y en consecuencia perdiendo el brazo. Ufff, una genialidad.

I swear, this series is going to give me a heart attack.

Amazing, action-packed volume, and also really emotional. I loved the scene between Mikasa and Eren at the end (even though I still think that Erin is annoying little shit, who doesn't deserve Mikasa), it was nice to see Mikasa's emotional side. But of course, that scene didn't last, because Eren had to be a jerk, as usual, and ruin it. I really hope I'm not the only one who can't stand him sometimes (well most of the time).

This volume was mostly action, but the talking led to more questions than answers. I'm honestly struggling to keep myself from watching the anime. I simply need to know. I'm very curious to see where the mythology takes us. At this point, I am quite confused, so I'm hoping the next installment goes more in depth. One thing I do know is there is a lot more to the titans than meets the eye.

This volume was really hard to follow. The action scenes were confusing, which they normally are for this series, and this volume kept introducing a lot questions without answering any of them. There's so many mysteries that seem to not be as high up on the radar anymore like what's happening with the female titan and what's happening with the basement. I'm getting really tired of this series introducing a ton of mysteries and not giving any answers to the mysteries. I'm too attached to this series to quit reading it, but I also feel like this series is going downhill and I will be pissed if this series doesn't give any answers to the mysteries soon.

Definitely some crazy shit going on here, and oh, The Pathos!

Seriously, people, there's some really awesome grief and guilt going on here. I'm almost ready to throw in the towel and root for all my enemies.

Pretty soon, there's going to be nothing but victims and victims, as far as the eye can see, and that's pretty damn awesome considering how the manga began. One great foe against the host of humanity? What a turn of events this is shaping up to be! :)

THIS WAS SO INTENSE.

Yet again, different relationships were developed. Ymir and Christa, and how they fight for eachother, rather for themselves. Bert and Reiner, and how they'd die trying to protect eacother: the perfect warriors. Eren and Mikasa, showing the bond between them can never be broken, even though Eren is a little sh*t most of the time. Even Jean and Armin, with their little moment at the end where Armin was protecting him from the titans. PERFECTION.

I just need more Hanji and Levi. I miss them.

Just gotta wait for Volume 13 now.

Such an intense volume! Emotional drama and fights were incredible!
Eren is such a piece of wood when it comes to feelings. Mikasa just told him her feelings but he just showed his anger to the titans.. And what is it, do his wishes come true now? Titans took action according to his wishes? How can it even happen?

I felt sorry for Bertold and Reiner. .even Ymir.. I wonder what is happening with them..Why are they expected to bring Eren to their hometown?

Goddamn it, pooe Hannes is killed.. (( At the hands of the same titan who ate Eren's mother. .. That was just horrible. ..

By the way, I am glad that I am not the only one who doesn't see Eren and Mikasa together as a couple. Just no. No development, no romance.

Now with lots of questions, I am moving on to the next volume..

Funny story. I was reading this today at dinner and kept commenting on the manga to my sister. Mostly I was saying how Eren needs to CALM THE HECK DOWN and think before he just charges into everything. I finished it and started freaking out about the ending because cliffhangers, and my sister just looked at me and said, completely straight faced, "Guess who else needs to CALM. DOWN?"

I get too excited about these books.

Romanian review: Volumele 10 și 12 sunt cele mai bune de până acum, chiar dacă o parte din impactul emoțional din anime se pierde din cauza lipsei soundtrack-ului (care este pur și simplu genial).
Cu greu m-am abținut să nu scriu o recenzie separată despre volumul 10, pentru că, în acel volum, se dezvăluie identitatea titanilor care au distrus Zidul Maria în urmă cu 5 ani: The Armored și The Colossal Titan. Dezvăluirea este devastatoare din punct de vedere emoțional, pentru că cei doi titani sunt Reiner și Bertholdt, personaje de care am ajuns să mă atașez. Am putut simți aceeași trădare ca Eren și ceilalți.
Un rezumat al acestei părți din poveste— volumele 9-12 (adaptate în sezonul 2 din anime)— ar fi: lupte epice cu titani— nu sunt neapărat mai multe ca în primele opt volume, dar sunt mai distractive și mai interesante— multă emoție, în princiapal tristețe, dar și un moment cathartic, cel mai epic moment din acest arc narativ. Mă refer la momentul în care aflăm cu adevărat ce puteri posedă Eren și de ce este atât de important. De asemenea, avem parte de strategii geniale, care îl implică pe Erwin Smith, despre care voi scrie mai multe în viitorul apropiat.
Din acest punct, povestea va deveni din ce în ce mai profundă și mai complexă, iar dezvăluirile importante sunt destul de aproape, așa că sunt nerăbdător să citesc mai departe.



English review: Volumes 10 and 12 are the best so far, even though some of the emotional impact from the anime is lost due to the absence of the soundtrack (which is simply brilliant).
I almost wrote a separate review for Volume 10 because it contains the revelation of the identities of the Titans who destroyed Wall Maria five years ago: The Armored and The Colossal Titans. The reveal is emotionally devastating because the two Titans are revealed to be Reiner and Bertholdt, characters I had grown attached to. I could feel the same sense of betrayal as Eren and the others.
A summary of this part of the story—Volumes 9–12 (adapted in Season 2 of the anime)—would be: epic Titan battles—not necessarily more frequent than in the first eight volumes, but more thrilling and engaging—plenty of emotion, primarily sadness, but also one cathartic, epic moment. I’m talking about the scene where we truly discover the extent of Eren’s powers and why he is so important. Additionally, there are brilliant strategies led by Erwin Smith, who I plan to write more about soon.
From this point onward, the story will become increasingly deep and complex, with major revelations just around the corner. I can’t wait to continue reading.

This volume, as well as the corresponding anime episodes, are GORGEOUS. The epic battles and amazing character dynamics probably make this my favourite volume so far.

Ma soprattutto, vogliamo parlare del fatto che Mikasa praticamente si sta dichiarando, praticamente lo sta per baciare, e lui la scansa per prendere a pugni * fallendo miseramente * il gigante? 😂😂😂

What an epic chapter, as Reinier and co make their escape in his titan form, the scouting legion are after them and Erwin has brought all the titans there too and its an all out war between the forces of them. And then they want Eren but then they can't let it be, even they took Historia earlier but in this situation they have to fight and they do and its epic to see, its an all out war and the scene is epic. There is blood, death and brutality which is next level. And then there is a part where the female titan who devoured his mother comes, kills Hannes and as things are looking down, their final moments...Eren shouts...that scream (which is the founding titans power or something), he is able to command the other titans to eat her and reinier next and they escape and that scene is a game changer and dictates the future of the series going forward! Wow what a scene, just epic all over and the emotional scars of this battle will be felt for years to come! And the art is insanely good and the scene between Ymir and Historia <3. Also Mikasa looks so cute.

One long chase that doesn’t answer the questions raised in earlier chapters.
There are only so many lives I can value

This whole Ymir/Krista thing is rather tiresome in the grand scheme of things, and verges a bit on the melodramatic, with sentences like: As a person I’m really lower than shit but she knows that, and smiles kindly at me anyway. You two don’t know what that’s like, do you?

Eren his power gets a bit more concrete, but questions abound still. Onwards!

More titan fights. The two titans try to get away with Eren and Ymir. Krista shows that her intelligence is questionable. More double crosses and a little more titan info we didn't have before. Hannes dies a really crappy death just before Eren figures out he can somehow control the other titans.
And Mikasa has one of the best bits of dialogue I've read in this series so far:

این جلد خیلی زیادی نفسگیره. اخرین دست و پا زدن‌های ادمایی که فکر میکنن اخرین باقیمونده بشریتن. نمیدونم چه حسی داشتم دفعه‌های قبل که خوندم یا انیمه رو دیدم ولی الان روی مخمن. دیگه راینر و برتولت غول‌های بی‌ شاخ و دمی نیستن که از ناکجاآباد اومده باشن. حالا میدونم چی به اینجا کشوندتشون و درماندگیشون از خشم ارن و «بشریت» برام قابل درک‌تره.

A rescue mission is on but humans need to think fast if they want to save Eren. This volume is action-packed to the teeth. Lives are lost and the emotions are strong.

Oh man no matter how many time I read about that scene where Mikasa thanks Eren that he saved her life and that he gave her a purpose to live with so much warm and love only begin to stir my heart. And the way Eren rises and faces that titan promising to protect her forever- priceless . Honestly this all scene made me realize that their bond is so much more then meets the eye...



I think the author makes a wonderful job in burring the border between what is the right side, it really feels that you want to be on both sides because at the end of day all are humans that were forced in this cycle of hate.
