Scion of a powerful family, Antonios Davies has come home to take his rightful place as head of his family's respected New York auction house. But the former soldier is haunted by memories of war…and the woman who has consumed his dreams for months.
Talia Adams fell in love with Tony in the poignant letters they exchanged while he was overseas. But the beautiful painter has wounds of her own. She isn't prepared for the seductive stranger who shows up on her doorstep…or the passion that sweeps them past the point of no return. Are they ready to let go of the past for the most passionate future imaginable?
A recovering lawyer, Ann Christopher has been published since 2006 and writes steamy contemporary romance.
When she’s not writing, Ann likes to do the following, in no particular order: read; cook; eat; hang out at Target looking for new stuff she doesn’t need; play with her 2 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats; and travel the world with her family. She lives in Ohio. If you’d like to recommend a great new TV show or share a recipe for homemade cake of any kind, Ann would love to hear from you!

4.5 Stars Another powerful emotionally charged read. The subject matter in this book is something that we rarely read in romance novels. The aspect of the very real ongoing war, soldiers suffering from PTSD, and human sickness. These issues made this story very real, and will be extremely relate able for a lot of people. Although the storyline was tough, the aspect of romance was still there. Talia and Tony had a heart wrenching story. I loved the beginning of the story with their pen letters back and forth to one another. It really set the tone for the story. Their passion was off the charts, and they had fantastic chemistry. This was a really great read, and I am hoping for a story between Cooper (Tony's cousin) and Gloria (Talia's sister). Those two had some fireworks between them...hoping this series continues, it is certainly off to a good start.
An emotionally CHARGED sequel...HEARTWARMING tear-jerker...and I TRULY hope Mrs. Christopher writes a follow-up for the COLORFUL secondary cast of characters.
Book 2 in this series from Ann . Ohh my! Tony & Talias story almost tops Sandro & Skylars ! In fact I’d say it was better because of the whole angst & art work related plot but let’s just go with it exceeded my expectations by far . Both Tony and Talia are dealing with some pretty heavy personal shit to say the least . The passion & heat by far are off the charts & once we learn why Talia has been holding back from Tony , you can’t help but pray for their HEA because Ann the author had pulled a surprise plot issue that had me in tears . For that reason alone , we all need to read this ! The reader gets their HEA & the Epilogue is the bomb , by far perfect for talia and tony. The question I ask is , while this book is s few years old & im just now discovering Ann’s work , WHY CANT I HAVE HER BOOKS in print, on the best selling charts like all my other authors? She’s AS DESERVING as all of them!
Wow, Tony and Talia's story is a beautiful, heartwarming romance. The best gift in this book is Tony's return to family and friends. Tony has endured the trauma of being a prisoner of war and now suffers from serious PTSD. His blessing is getting a second chance with the one woman whos' letters, and caring was his guiding hope. Talia, had her own painful experience to deal with regarding her cancer. And she fears getting involved with Tony and burdening him with all she has to go through. But these 2 truly belong together, and they have a special bond so their love story has to have a happy ending. Cancer can test the strength of the person suffering with it (personal experience with my mom) and those who love 💞 and care for that individual. But dealing with it together through love and prayers 🙏 can be the strongest gift to share. Truly glad to see Tony and Talia finally get their happy ever after together!! 🙂
I believe everyone should have some kind of happiness in their life; including anyone going through something traumatic or has an illness. Talia and Tony went through so much to be together. Between the PTSD and cancer, this couple was able to weather the storms in order to be together.
This second book in the series, is spiritual, passionate, poignant and moving from the letters written. This author always paints a good story but, this story had the extra factor.
Review: Sinful Temptation by Ann Christopher 4 Stars This is the second book of the Davies Twins. I liked it but wish their was more of the characters from the first one. Their are a few love scenes towards the end of the story. Antonios Davies is at home in the family mansion after escaping from the Talaban. Everyone thought he died in the explosion that injured his twin. He returned home to find his twin married to his ex-fiance. He has nightly nightmares. Tony plans to work at the family auction house. Tony wants to find Talia who he met through his nephew and became his pen pal. When Tony wrote back telling her of his growing attachment to her. She stoped writing to him. Talia was having feelings for Tony after writing to him for awhile, eventhough when she started he had a fiance and her a boyfriend. Talia was an artist and gave art lessons to Nick Tony's nephew. Talia was getting ready to travel abit when Tony came to see her. Talia was glad to see him and than brushed him off. Tony came back the next day with his 2 cousins that helped run the family auction house and told her its business why he was their. Tony offered her a job repairing a murial at Hamptons mansion that was ruined by a storm that his mother loved. His cousins also offered her to paint a mureal at thier art house. Oh and yes she would have to stay at mansion while she was doing that painting. Tony & Talia had some serious issues to work out. I would like to see what happens to Talia sister and Tony's cousins. I was lent this ebook to read in exchange for honest review from Netgalley. 02/28/2012 PUB Harlequin Kimani Romance
I can't even tell you why it took me so long to read Tony's story especially since I've had the ebook sitting right here on my Nook and I had read Sandro's in Sinful Seduction months ago. Anyhow, it was great reading. I really liked the genuine bond between Talia and Tony. Ann Christopher also uses the storyline to deal with real issues (Talia's health and Tony's PTSD) and I think she handles it really well. It was great to see Tony and Talia work through their roadblocks and commit to staying together. Tony's perseverance made my heart melt and his lines during one of their confrontations were just fantastic.
It was great to catch up with the rest of the characters from Sinful Seduction i.e. Sandro, Sky, Nikolas and Mickey especially---that dude is a riot. Now, I need Ann Christopher to write a story about Gloria and Cooper. Pretty please Ann.
If you read Sinful Seduction (and you should have), you know that the surprise ending revealed that Alessandro's brother, Antonios (Tony), shows up at their family's home. It was a surprise because Tony was presumed dead while serving in Afghanistan. While working to adjust back to civilian life, he finally meets Talia Adams, whose letters to him overseas gave him the hope that kept him alive when he was behind enemy lines. Talia is having to make some adjustments of her own as she is dealing with some major medical issues.
Ann Christopher has again masterfully blended romance with the serious issues that touch many of our lives today. Having the two main characters of your book have major physical and psychological challenges can be daunting, but it didn't weigh down the story and gave a realistic touch to a genre that is sometimes criticized for its escapism.
I really like this series this book was about communication and not being afraid to get what you need from other people Tony went after Talia like it was a mission but while doing this they talked the conversations were good I really enjoyed being a part of them. I understood why Talia was afraid and I rooted for this couple. So many time books are filled with so much sex you don't get to see the characters fall in love I felt them fall in love and acknowledge it in this book and I was so proud of their progress. Ann Christopher did a gret job with the twin books I can't wait to see what she writes next.
Antonios has been through hell and the only the letters from Talia Adams has kept him sane. Then, he gets one marked return to sender and then he dies. Okay, so he's really a POW and bows hes back and want to reconnect with Talia. Though she tries to play it cool, Tony is at the vented of her world. But all is not well with this reunion. I liked this book though not as much as Sinful Seduction. Both brother's are honest about their intense feelings and that is refreshing, especially coming from hardened soldiers. Can't wait to hear about Marcus, Cooper, and even, Mickey.
Words can't even express how I felt reading this love story. I cried, I laughed, and then....I cried some more.Ann Christopher has a way with words and bringing her characters into your heart. Simply a beautiful story. I admire both Talia and Tonios strength and love. As they say...God is good.
Would love a story on Gloria and Cooper's budding relationship!
To see the love that Tony and Talia had for one another was amazing they survived her cancer an his PTSD something neither wanted to bother each other with but they knew they need each other and they had to learn to trust the other wouldnt leave. It was also nice to catch up on Book 1 characters Sandro and Skylar.
Tony Davis back from the dead and the only person he wants to see is Talia Adams. Talia has her own demons to deal with as Tony does as well after becoming a Prisoner of War. Will they make it? Can love pull them together in the Hamptons?
Twins conquer love, friendship, family, and broken friendships , proving blood is thicker than water and families stay together through the good and the bad.
