Candice Jeneé is a retired LMFT, mom, business owner, author, and spoonie. She owns Soul Cadence Creative, a creative education and publishing business where she teaches, writes, edits, and runs the Soul Cadence Village membership site for overwhelmed and burnt out moms, and has a soft spot for fellow spoonie moms.

Candice is the author of a handful of books, including the devotional You’re Not Alone: Bible stories and prayers for pregnancy and early motherhood. She’s a believer in rhythm over balance and fulfillment and creativity in motherhood and chronic illness, and spreads this message on her blog and social media channels, and to anyone who’ll listen.

Candice lives in WA with her husband, two littles, and their cat, Pumpkin Pie. (Ironically, Candice isn’t a fan of pumpkin pie the food.) She is a lover of elephants, the ocean, and rainy days

Very real, powerful story of young women struggling to find who they are in the midst of painful situations. Love the honest voice, exploration of deep issues and the hope that is offered without any pretense. Highly recommended read for teens and young adults (and people of all ages!)

I encourage anybody working with or dealing with depression. This presents an accurate description of it.
