The Cowboy and The Angel: Seth and Priscilla
Book 2
This was the second book in the Cowboy and The Angel series and to be honest I thought the story and characters were really sweet but it didn’t have that special spark! I felt as if the story was written just for the heck of it and I was a little disappointed. :( But, I was glad we got to see Seth and Prissy’s story come to life! In the first book, we are first introduced to this couple and they have many problems and you don’t think they will ever end up together, however this book really showed how their relationship develops and why they are meant to be together! It was really sweet..and I guess that’s what really drew my attention! I don’t think there is any girl who can pass up a good sweet romance story! I AM A SUCKER FOR THINGS LIKE THIS!! LOL ;p
The story takes place four years after The Cowboy and The Angel and is all about Seth and Priscilla’s confusing relationship. The reason why I say confusing is because both the characters have many misunderstandings about the feelings each have for one another. Priscilla returns home from school to find that Seth hasn't changed at all. He's still sexy as hell and...wait for it.....STILL SINGLE!! But, she has tried her best to put her feelings aside and not fall in love with him again. However, thats when things start to change. Seth starts to notice her and in all the good ways. No matter how hard Prissy tries to resist him, there really isn’t heck of a lot a woman can resist when it comes to a cowboy! =)
What I really enjoyed about Prissy’s character was that she is not the same woman you know from the first book. After the accident she and her sister were in (first book), she realizes many things. She genuinely wants to help people and starts to understand all the things she took for granted. She is innocent and sweet and has turned over a new leaf. She gets uncomfortable when guys flirt with her even though before she didn’t mind that kind of attention. As much as she doesn’t want to believe it...she is also still madly in love with Seth. Prissy doesn’t know what to feel and how to act around Seth...and I just loved that! It was too cute! Seth....well...to simply put it...takes HOT to a whole new level!! SUPER NOVA HOT!! I loved his personality. He is sweet and kind and has a big heart and loves to help others, especially Prissy. But, we also get to see Seth’s protective and jealous side...now that was something! I loved how he was always the one who started the sexual teasing and just loved to watch Prissy squirm! LOL ;p I really enjoyed this fun and daring side of Seth! =)
The emotions in this story were very real. I loved the fact that this time it was the guy pinning after the girl...and not vice versa! Also the romance was not at all cheesy..in fact I would say it was sweet and very hot!! Especially, that barn scene...MMMMMM!!! That had ME squirming and blushing! ;p
Overall, I very much enjoyed this book! The story and the characters were very easy to fall in love with and it was a fun and light read. Although, it wasn’t the best story written by Ms. Wards, I am glad I was able to get insight into Seth and Prissy’s relationship. Thank you for this Ms. Wards!! THUMBS UP TO YOU!!! =)

Its good than cowboy and Angel. Seth and Pris are more wonderful couple than Alex n Angel. Lovely story. A bit of drama,intense chemistry, calm n composed hero, charming heroine and interesting secondary characters.

Seth and Pricilla. I was surprised to like this one almost as much as the first book. I had initially bought it to read more about Alex and Angel, (and there was plenty of sweet satisfying moments with them in the book), but I ended up liking Pricilla's character quite a bit. I wasn't as crazy about Seth at first as he was so cool and collected, but he got better towards the end. Pricilla doesn't like who she is so she left town and decided to take life more seriously. Even though in doing so, she was leaving behind Seth, the sexy guy next door, as well... not that he noticed. When she comes back for Seth's mother's funeral, he finally notices that she has grown up. There's nutty shenanigans with a film crew who are camped out at Alex and Seth's family house and a crazy OW.

I'm glad Seth finally gave Priscilla a chance. yes it took her awhile to grow up and realize life wasn't always about her. For a minute there I thought he was going to mess up. Glad it all worked out.
