This book is free this month on Blushing books (https://www.blushingbooks.com/) and I really liked the premise. Unfortunately there are so many errors that took me out of the story while I tried to figure out what the sentence should read, that I almost didn't finish it. Frankly the fact that I did finish it, is a testament to how compelling the story was. I really wanted to find out what happened.

My only other complaint is I would have liked more story, particularly more about Lauren and Landry. The speed at which they get together simply illustrates that Lauren hasn't learned a thing from her past experiences.

Lauren feels that her submission has ruined everything and people don't want to even know the truth including her dominant parole officer. But as he sees her and realizes that things might not be what they appear to be he decides to help her out. Of course she decides to help which does get her into some real trouble with Ethan. A 'butt' load of trouble but she also finds out there is a difference between a true caring dominant and a bullying con man.

This is a cute story about a girl who had no guidance in her early life, and as a result is a spoiled brat. When she gets in trouble with the law, her brother’s best friend, a probation officer, takes over her case, provides her with rules to live by, and uses spankings to correct her misbehavior. It is a cute story with a happy ending, some spankings, and love and affection, but no sex. This review was written after receipt of an ARC copy.

I really enjoyed this story because it really goes to show that you have to be so careful with who you trust especially if you have given them control. Lauren gets in way over her head and only her probation officer can and is willing to help her prove her innocence.

Although it was a nice story, the development of the romantic relationship between the heroine and the 'good guy' could have been deeper. It was nice to have a happy ending, but I would have loved to read more about Mr. Landry and Ms. Parker. However, it was a free story, so I can't complain!
