I write not only for my own pleasure, but for the pleasure of my readers. I can’t remember a time in my life when I haven’t written and told stories. Only one of the stories is mine, Spring Discovery, the other two are written by the brilliant D.J. Manly and the amazingly talented A.J. Llewellyn.
Go check it out! I hope you will enjoy reading these stories as much as we loved writing them.
It's amazing how DJ Manly managed to make Clive so sympathetic, despite his situation. I felt sorry for him and I cheered when he made the right decision at the end! Their relationship with Seth were great - hot and hopeful and touching, loved it! And the whole Seth's family was adorable too, especially his grandfather! The guy's sharp and he saw right through Clive's facade.
The ending just put a content smile on my face :) I really loved this intense short story, highly recommend it!
The Kaupe
I'm not sure, how I feel about this story.
I liked some parts of it, in fact I liked the main parts of it - the interesting setting with the spirit, both MCs, their relationship. The summary got me worried about Dino, I thought he'd be vain and shallow, but he turned out quite the opposite! He sounded almost self-deprecating when he thought about his quirk with liking only pretty men. He's pretty laid back and sweet and friendly type. I liked Alek too, but I wished there'd be more of him and more of them together! I really think the book suffered from too much secondary (and totally unnecessary, in my opinion) characters. I didn't enjoy reading about the utter bitch Flavia and her escapades or her constant complaints. Jay and Colin were okay, but still they weren't interesting to me, I wanted more of Dino and Alek. The ending was good, but still I'd like more explaining about why the Kaupe left Dino alone so suddenly and why he haunted him before, even though Dino and Alek already got together by then.
All in all I rather liked the story, but still wished it being told differently.
Spring Discovery
Lovely story!
Based on the summary I thought Shawn would be more agressive, but it turned out Gerald's got more character's strength. I'm not complaining, though ) I liked how sweet the guys were together and I'm happy they sorted things out between them pretty fast, without drawn out big misunderstandings.
