I am a wife and mother who simply loves the written word. All the places you get to visit by simply separating a few pages. All the people you get to live through and fall in love with. All the adventures you get to have without ever having to leave your house. Not to mention all the worlds you get to visit and travel.
I hope you join me in my books and travel, live and love with me.

I've spent my entire life wishing I had a Guardian Angel.

I've finally found it here, within the talentled author's prose, our own Ms. Melissa Smith. Her book, Silver Lining is a definite, feel good read.

This book has been spinning around my brain for over a year. I re-read it when I eat my lunch and I'm relaxing, but more importantly, I read Silver Lining when I want a story to make me feel all is well in the world.

This heavenly story keeps me entertained, no matter how many times I read it, and I'm so grateful Melissa's book, Silver Lining, has the power to do this.

The plot is imaginative, the characters believable, and who wouldn't want a guardian angel in the guise of a puppy? I was hooked, as I am with all of Ms. Smith's books. She's a gifted story teller, a wordsmith extraordinaire, and actually does formatting for her peers, or so I've been told.

For fantasy readers, I think her book stands on its own merit. I highly recommand this lovely story and I hope you trust me enough to look into this one, people. I promise you won't be disappointed. :)

Come back to where it all began ' Silver Lining is a novella on how two of my favorite characters, Argento and Ari fell in love. It's a fun and interesting look into the beginning of a deliciously tender relationship that I have come to adore. Although Ari seems to be right on que where her charge is concerned, she may need a few pointers when it comes to the love of her life....her mate. A girl can only play hard to get for so long!! ;)
Argento is more then patient while waiting for Ari to realize that he is his mate. He has waited for her to come around, watching her from near and far for 50 years!! *Swoon* I think we need more Heros like Argento!! ;)
If you love the Guardians, you'll love this delightful look into where it all started! A little slice of Heaven not to be missed!!

Silver Lining by Melissa A. Smith is a story that breathes warmth and authenticity. I loved how it connects to Thunderhead while finally unveiling “how the Key unlocked how the Bell rings.” The emotions feel raw yet tender, and the chemistry between the characters is built on more than attraction, It’s understanding and growth. Smith captures the kind of love that matures through promises, laughter, and little moments. I’d recommend this to anyone who enjoys stories about genuine emotional connections.

Not a 5 only because it was really good and I feel it would have been even better if Ari's reasons for her behavior were more clearly explained.
