I read this book in under a month. To some people this is nothing new. I give it 5 stars because it gives you the cold reality of facing what you're facing that some people don't even see until academy. You get to see that rude awakening right in the material as Stew and former Dallas SWAT Officer (I think) share death stories for under-preparedness. I don't really got much to say about it other than it was good. The most important thing I had come to find is the statewide departmental PT and what to expect when re-certifying (such as benching, jump boxes etc). Although I only apply the stretching as one of a few to my warm up/cool down routine at this time until a couple other planners are complete (one for my department of hoped choice/the other Stews baseline program) I sneaked ahead and the exercises are a one up if you're active.

I recommend this for anybody that already has finished the authors other programs, is already an officer up for SWAT Test for unit entry, or for someone that just tries to be one-step ahead of Murphy's Law though it may appear he always wins with a Louisville Slugger to your ambition in the alley anyways.
