There were a lot of big concepts introduced and covered in this small book. Based on the cover, I thought it was going to be a bit more about the changing seasons and there was much more to it. That being said, because it was so short, there were ideas introduced but the knowledge transfer and understanding gained, was probably pretty minimal.

Kids are introduced to the simple science concept of chemical changes with a variety of examples and the frequent refrain, "Things change." This would be an appropriate book for kids just starting to read on their own, or a primary grades science class.
