I have been intensely studying Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) for the past 6 months and this book was excellent in presenting modern research from key domains of knowledge (neuroscience, psychology, and religion) about the phenomenon. One of the co-authors Dr David Wilde was a lecturer of mine, who certainly sparked in me a profound curiosity and enthusiasm for the topic.

It's a concise and short "Handbook" which I would recommend anyone and everyone if they want to learn about the NDE from experienced (and open-minded) psychologists, clinicians, and scientists, some of whom have themselves undergone an NDE.
