This book gives an excellent explanation of what armadillos are, and gives a more detailed explanation of the nine-banded armadillo that lives in North America. This is an informative book for any reader who picks it up.

I wanted this one because we read the other one ("Armadillo's Orange") and I wanted to see some REAL armadillos. And here they are! And the real ones look like the one in "Armadillo's Orange" so that person who painted that knew what they were doing.
