This is a good little book. To be honest, I got it part way through Advent. So next year, I will start from the beginning. But what I really enjoyed is that it begins with the Immaculate Conception and ends when Jesus is 12 and in the Temple.

What intrigued me was this, from the write up I read, “Divided into three main sections—Prayers for Christmas and Advent, Devotions for Advent, and Devotions for Christmastide—Storey includes many deeply meaningful yet virtually unknown ancient prayers of the Church, some of them translated into contemporary language for the first time.”

I am unsure this would be my go-to Advent prayer book. But it is well thought out and written.
