Hers for the Weekend

Rate this book
She wanted a temporary arrangement. . .

Piper Jamieson needs a man. And not just any man. She needs someone to play her significant other when she heads home for her family reunion. Thanks to a self-imposed period of celibacy, she has no prospects. . .except for her sexy best friend, Josh Weber. Since there's nothing between them, kissing him will be a breeze, right?

But he wanted her permanently!

Spending an entire weekend with Piper sounds perfect to Josh. . .it's the whole family thing that doesn't. Lately his dates haven't been as exciting as they used to be, and he knows why. His best friend's been on his mind--day and night. But Piper has made it clear she's not looking for a relationship. Luckily, he's hers for the weekend, and he has three full nights to change her mind!

A fun, cute story. Predictable but entertaining. I would have enjoyed an epilogue with this story!

CLASIFICATION: 3.6 ESTRELLAS

La historia fue corta pero sustanciosa, me gusto que la relacion de los protagonistas no fuera un insta-love, y ademas la familia de la protagonista fue divertida.
En fn, me la pase bien mientras la leia.

This book was predictable and full of clichés. It was difficult to read until the end.
I would not recommend it.

I read this as a "bonus" with Susan Mallery's Completely Smitten but I wanted to review them separately because I felt so differently about them. I found Piper and all the subterfuge and misunderstanding just annoying. I liked Josh marginally better, but still found his insecurities irritating.

Read this as part of the Susan Mallery double, but decided to review them separately (because I felt differently and to raise my book number).

Book was good, probably won't buy it but may get it from the library again if I'm desperate. It was a satisfying read.

Me gusto, los protagonistas se conocieron en el trabajo y desde entonces son amigos.
Como un favor a su amiga él la ayuda fingiendo ser su novio, y este es el detonante para que ambos descubran los sentimientos que sienten uno del otro.

I think I've read this book at least four more times since the first time. Loved the story, the characters and everything seemed so real.

A little trite. Very common story, frequently overdone. Alright read but nothing too great.

I love how Piper found her love with him during her chaotic weekend. I just wish that Charlie would go and live in a cave somewhere far from that town.
