A Star Wars geek and a run-away punk rocker.
A small town in Iowa.
No money, no phone and no time.
They’ve got a bad feeling about this.

Star Wars collector Dennis Harwell needs to get to California. Quickly. His parents are being buried in 72 hours there. Unfortunately, he finds himself stuck in a small town in Iowa with his cat, R2-D2, and Star, a fugitive on the lam.

It’s evening and Dennis has little money, no credit card and less than three days to travel 1,700 miles in time to say good-bye to his parents.

With no money and no phone, with his cat and an anarchist punk rocker as traveling companions, Dennis must figure out how to escape before Star’s reckless behavior gets them arrested. He is ineffective and she is a fugitive, but the pair must work together if they are going to escape rural Iowa.

I keep finding books that look really good and in the end when I finish reading them, they're not all that great. What kept me going is the way the girl (Star, Veronica) talked to Dennis. Dennis was a compete man-child. And thank god he opened his eyes by the end.

The whole book was one huge 'preach' about living life and how some people are with collecting and why they collect. Also, letting go when a loved one dies. Which are awesome topics to have in a book, don't get me wrong, and I love how the author expressed them.

Just wish there was a better plot to this. :/
