Good short, easy to read devotional. Little gems throughout that I included in my daily devotional journal.

This was a nice devotional. I liked how she used scripture to start out each day's readings and then offered a prayer at the end.

It is meant to be used and reused as a valuable tool in your “success in life tool kit”. Bend it, write in it, cry over it if you must. But set yourself a goal to glean all you can from its pages which are filled with simple stories of every day blessings.
As I was running out the door this morning I looked at my to-be-read-and-reviewed shelf and this book caught my attention. I had several hours to kill waiting on my son, and a fiction book and a devotional fit the bill. I started with the devotional, and read half of it within a short time. The book is a perfect size to fit in your office desk, briefcase, or to keep in your home office for a quick ‘pick-me-up’ type devotion. There is some pages designated for notes, but not a lot, so if you want to write thoughts, you might want to keep a notebook handy.
This is not a deep Bible study requiring hours in the word. There is no real meat included. This is a easy devotional designed to fill an empty couple minutes so you won’t feel guilty about neglecting devotions. They are short, to the point, and encouraging us women as we go about our busy days. $10.79. 182 pages.

I so enjoyed this devotional. Each day that I read it, I always found a note of inspiring encouragement. This book would certainly make a wonderful gift to any Christian woman. The reminders you are given of God's Word, and His love for us, are special things to think about and cultivate in your heart each day.
The poetry included at the end was wonderful! Such a lovely surprise to find encouraging poems to finish off a wonderful book. The following is one of my favorites.
"If there's a mountain
Standing in your way,
Tell that mountain
To move, today.
Whether it be high or low,
Tell that mountain its got to go!
God's given you power
You can't see,
To help you gain the victory.
So, let no mountain stand in your way
Because God is waiting to
BLESS YOU TODAY."

This was a good book. It took me a while to get through it, because I didn't want to read too much of it and lose what was being said or the meaning behind it. It is very deep and I think I will be re-reading this, most likely for Lent. I enjoyed the format of it. Small, one to two Kindle pages long, readings. Not too long, but very in-depth regarding relationship with the Lord. I'm glad I got it and read it.
