This evaluation was one of the earliest research projects on adult restorative justice in Canada, and one of the first in the world to focus on serious crime. It analyzed the case statistiscs, the time and outcome frmo preparation, the feedback from participants and from criminal justice intervenors. It drew attention as well to organizational challenges. Nevertheless, it was a positive indication of the merits of restorative justice approaches.
