What I like about this collection is its innocence. This is so poignant. It's all about first love and being hurt in the process of hoping. The major theme of this book is unrequited love and the sad fact that young gay boys do fall in love with straight guys. Sometimes these straight guys would feel something that can be called love but they are never brave or man enough to own up to it.

Highly-recommended. This book will speak to your inner lover who still hopes for that first kiss from the person you loved for the first time.
