Pretty solid pulp fiction from an actor/author whose life according to his Wikipedia entry is far more interesting than anything he could have written as fiction. Apparently both his novels contain allusions to his life. Well this one covers it all, sleazy sex, junkies, the mob, hookers and those hypocritical Hollywood moguls. He himself was apparently connected to the mob so he knoweth what he writeth about. I am intrigued as to what they might have thought about their portrayal though.
