Also publishes as Stephen Cole.

Steve Cole is the slightly crazy, highly frantic, millions-selling, non-stop author of Astrosaurs, Cows In Action, Astrosaurs Academy, The Slime Squad, Z. Rex and many other books (including several original Doctor Who stories).

He used to edit magazines and books but prefers the job of a writer where you can wear pyjamas and eat chocolate all day.

Steve just can't stop writing - if he does, strange robots appear and jostle him vigorously until he starts again.

In his spare time he loves making music, reading old comics, thinking up ideas for new books and slumping in front of a warm TV.

I read this book a few years ago so I don’t remember the details, but I do remember that I enjoyed it a lot. It’s about the C.I.A. which stands for Cows in Action, an organization of cows that travel through time in order to prevent the F.B.I. (Fed-Up Bull Institute) to change the course of history in their favor. And that synopsis should be enough to get your attention, I don’t really know what else to say. It’s a really funny book, especially the drawings, which are just hilarious and the whole silliness of the premise guarantees a lot of jokes around cows and the government agencies. If you need to buy a gift for someone's child, you can't go wrong with this one.

Steve (the author) had my eyes widening and cheeks hurting from laughing from the opening line. C-I-A Ter-Moo-Nators was funny, punny, and worth the 15min reading time it took from my morning.

Pat and Bo Vine, the siblings that lead the story with Professor Angus McMoo are witty, and worth reading about.
