"I am a fanatic about freedom. And I'm fanatical about coming at you hard in this book."
Maybe you're not as free as you think you are. Even worse, you may have been duped into believing that a "balanced" life is the key to happiness (it isn't) or that a relationship with God is about layering on rules and restrictions (nope).
Whether it's media-fueled fear, something a parent or teacher said that you just can't shake, or even the reality of dark spiritual forces bent on keeping you down, something is holding you back from the full-on freedom God intends for you.
The Bible says, "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." Not fear. Not guilt. Not morality. Freedom. You can have the sort of joy you thought only kids could have. The day of freedom is here.
The book gave some great insight into how startups can be more successful. I enjoyed the various methods to offer your product for free and then to add a cost for premium. I have been sold on products by this same methodology. There were some real-world examples cited in the book as well. Good book for entrepreneurs as well as potential investors in entrepreneurial ventures.
Sometimes people think mistake freedom with doing everything they want... In the book, Brian Tome shows us that we are all free in Christ, not to be bound by religion and other conventions. As he wisely reminds us, the central theme of the Bible is all about Freedom.
He writes somethings that have reached deep inside my beliefs and status quo I imagined should be.
It's kinda revolutionary the way he addresses his message, with a youthful enthusiasm that makes everyone want this kind of freedom... That may sound pretentious but, as I always say, that's just my opinion.
I would give it 5 stars if it did not have the commentaries about how he loves to ride his bike without a helmet, but, other than that, it is a refreshing great read that makes us want more of the freedom he talks about.
Want to check it out? Get the book and tell me what you think. I would love to read some comments.
